No one knew quite where the Thread came from.
A visual remnant of a whisper
A secret between plant tips
One connection of many
In a forest of consciousness
So delicate, like a thought
You can barely remember
Just on the tip of your mind
Was the thread really there?
Perhaps, imagined into existence
Look away during a gust of wind
And it's gone...
A bit like us to a mountain or an ocean or a large redwood tree.
Maybe we should all just stop fighting.
And find the thread between us.

hundreds of strings hanging from the ceiling, little embroidered cups hang from each, I slide around on my back and when I saw the light ;o) I shot and kept speeding the shutter to get the starburst affect I wanted.
From my maternal grandmother's sewing box.
3cm/1.18 inches across the frame. The Laowa 60mm lens magnifies by two, so that this appears larger than it measures. Measurement in first comment.
every part of our body, every part of the world is connected by golden threads. they make us whole. they make us all one. when wisdom speaks of a united world they are talking about these connection. whether we want it or not we are all one.
Was it caught in a spider thread? I don't know! It was hanging from this tiny thread thing from a tree outside the restaurant / lodge in Shenandoah National Park. There were a lot of them on the ground getting stepped on! I rarely see a caterpillar and now this! LOL Hard to get a decent shot of it as it was wiggling and blowing in the slight breeze. I think probably it stretched that thread all the way to the ground, or being at eye level someone walked smack into it like I almost did!
This 4mm square frame or 5/32 inch square frame captures the perfect together ....needle and thread.
shot with a fujifilm x-s10 and a helios 44m-4 58mm f/2 with a reversed rear element

Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. Threading through the crowds on a busy day in the city. Enjoy!
Urd, Verdandi, Skuld by name—
Past, Present, and What Still to Come.
Beneath the tree, they softly hum,
And to the thread, all worlds succumb.
Rungardvik turns 4 today. Happy Birthday to us!
I've swallowed a secret burning thread
it cuts me inside
and often I've bled

Water and stone are in constant dialogue - shaping one another through movement and time. This image, Threads of Water, opens the chapter The Dance of Water and Stone in my new book Artwork of Nature.
In this chapter, I explore how water carves the land over years and centuries, from gentle ripples to dramatic, sculpted formations. Each photograph reflects that ongoing exchange between two of nature’s strongest forces — a reminder of how motion leaves its mark and memory on the landscape.
After a wonderful first week of pre-sales, I’m deeply grateful for the support so far. If you’d like to explore the project and secure a signed copy, you can find all the details here:
