Threadlike head of Mushroom in the forest

These threadlike masses were all over this small tree. Ants seemed to like them

Plant has thread-like foliage and this variety features yellow petals with red cethers

The flat stuff is surely lichen. The threadlike stuff I think is lichen. The green stuff is moss.

And there is a red-orange tiny bug. I would have focused on it in particular had I noticed it at the time.

Fine hairlike lobes. Woody base. Threadlike leaves and silvery-green foliage.
