Lots of tiny spools of thread, misc sewing necessities, two books I've finished reading, my planner and ibuds are tucked away in this corner.
Christmas packaged decorated with thread spool Christmas tree. Spools have scrapbook paper decoupaged onto them. They are held together end to end with wood glue. The sections are secured to the box lid with twine through small holes in the lid.

I have three of these things stuffed full of embroidery thread back from the days when I cross-stitched. Which would probably be sometime in the mid-90's. It's all ready for me to break out and use again. Although why I didn't just break it out to embroidery with is beyond me. Anyhow, it's great having all of this thread for stitching! This is an M8 stainless bolt, 40mm threaded section. I like the imperfections in the threads...you don't notice this sort of stuff until you go macro.
