Thisis a view looking down the Skull Creek drainage towards the Beartooth Plateau (covered in clouds) along Wyoming State Highway 120 north of Cody Wyoming. The fold seen in the rocks on the hill to the right of the road is the Skull Creek Syncline. This panorama was created by stitching five vertical 85mm images together.

Il y a 17 hameaux à Valloire, étagés entre 1390m (les Villards) et 1730m (Bonnenuit) le long de la route serpentant entre les cols du Télégraphe et du Galibier.
Le plus gros hameau est celui des Verneys... En continuant la route en Direction du Galibier , juste avant d arriver au hameau de "Bonne Nuit" on aboutit à La Rivine
Ce hameau est le lieu où la route du Galibier franchit la Valloirette. L'ancien pont étant trop étroit et obligeant les gros véhicules à manœuvrer pour passer, un second, plus grand, a été construit, mais l'ancien est toujours présent, par , La chapelle du hameau se cache entre les maisons.

The largest hamlet is that of Ver neys... Continuing the road in the direction of Galibier, just before arriving at the hamlet of "Bonne Nuit" we arrive at La Rivine Thisi hamlet is the place where the Galibier road crosses the Valloirette. The old bridge being too narrow and requiring large vehicles to maneuver to pass, a second, larger one was built, but the old one is still present, therefore, The chapel of the hamlet is hidden between the houses.

Der größte Weiler ist Verneys... Wenn wir die Straße in Richtung Galibier fortsetzen, kommen wir kurz vor dem Weiler „Bonne Nuit“ in La Rivine an In diesem Weiler kreuzt die Galibier-Straße die Valloirette. Da die alte Brücke zu schmal war und große Fahrzeuge manövrieren mussten, wurde eine zweite, größere Brücke gebaut, die alte ist jedoch immer noch vorhanden, weshalb die Kapelle des Weilers zwischen den Häusern versteckt ist.

Thisis a shot from a walk around Milford on the weekend, this Cannon was recently placed by the Building that I guess at soem stage was the Taylor Library and is now used again I think by the Chamber of Commerce

A shot for Don - this morning I said that our nesting here did not appear to be being used at the moment - how wrong was I . Today I did the front garden a tidy up as well as down the side of the house where there is a tree with the nest box fixed on it . And yes Don , I could hear the little one making their noises coming from the box and next thing I know there is a Great Tit with a beakfull on his way in - a few shots and thisis the best - it is well dark under the tree !! You can see the box on the tree in the second comment box !!

Ananas nanus - Minature Pineapple/Dwarf Pineapple/Ornamental pineapple
A Rosette of dark green,elongated, sharp leaves and cone-shaped inflorescenes of pale purple or red flowers. Seldom blooms indoors, so no fruit is produced. When they do, the leaves die back. Leaf edges are quite sharp.
This is an ornamental plant which can be planted in the garden. It attracts butterflies, bees and other insects a reason for me to plant this. Don't know whether thisis edible. since there are lots of Q's regarding the plant thought of adding the info. :-))

Thisi is a 9 shot stitched panorama from an aurora display at þingvellir national park in Iceland.
Last year I had the fortune of doing a 6 day trip to Iceland, and even though it was only clear enough to see the northern lights on one night, I had the chance to capture this nice display.
