This button is on a blue jacket I suspect is a Navy officer's. I think it's Danish. Can anyone confirm this?
Walking to visit a friend in the hospital, I came across this thing, and I rather liked it, so took a snap ;)
The Thing is... I shot these years ago and can't figure out why they were not added to flickr earlier.
Who knows what funded this celebration of outsider art - dumped behind chicken wire barriers in front of Dominos Pizza in Chalk Farm. Deliberate naivity? Fashioned by children? Must be official as barriers are cemented into the pavement (I guess), but why? And why in a location which means that its beauty is bscured by protective mesh. Mysterious, incompetent and somehow lovely.
Fluff bounding across the lawn. One of the best things about our garden is that it is completely edged by fences so the little furball can roam around outside on nice summer evenings - she loves it!
I don't know what it is, I tried to open it but it wasn't a container, the top just twisted. I was hoping someone out there might be able to figure it out and tell me what this thing is.
Excuse the cliched flower photo, but after this winter, it was hard for me to not get excited by the bits of green emerging all over the city. Taken in Bryant Park.
I think this is "The Thing"...I'm still really not sure....and if it is "The Thing"...I can't really remember what it is...
