I thought this was an interesting take on the campaign slogan. I am ready for the campaigning to be done. 300/366
About a week ago we were at the dog park and Moxie ran over to me squealing and then ran off to play with the other dogs. It wasn't until we got home that I realized she had been bit. We thought it would heal at first but she ended up having to go into surgery and get stitches. The whole thing broke my heart. She has never ever been aggressive to any person or animal (even when the cat takes her food), so it's super sad that she just tried to make friends and then had to go through all this.
I woke up this morning, screamed downstairs to check to see if anyone was home, ran to my closet, buttoned up my max costume, ate fruity pebbles with my scepter-...I mean fork, then crept outside to approach the sleeping beast living on my front porch.
turns out we both love chasing squirrels, having wild rumpuses, & scaring the neighbors half to death.
No, Man-Thing is not a ripoff of Swamp Thing. The two were developed individually, and rip off The Heap.
Man-Thing was once human, but had a typical superhero accident with chemicals. Only the difference is, it turned him into a semi-sentient monster, and Man-Thing exists to guard the Nexus Of All Realities in a Florida swamp 9really). Anything that knows fear burns at the touch of Man-Thing.
hahaha
This was soo much fun!! Even after the shower I didn't feel clean haha
This shoot was just for fun and it ended up coming out better than I expected. I've been wanting to do the mud thing since winter but I'm definitely glad I waited until it was melting outside haha I think I may have been bit by a million bugs..gross!!
Listen to understand, not merely to reply.

Volkswagen Type 181
A two-wheel drive, four-door, convertible, off-road, military vehicle manufactured by Volkswagen from 1968 to 1983. Originally developed for the West German Army, the Type 181 was also sold to the public, as the Kurierwagen in West Germany, the Trekker (RHD Type 182) in the United Kingdom, the Thing in the United States (1973–74), the Safari in Mexico and South America, and Pescaccia in Italy. Civilian sales ended after model year 1980.
Manufactured in Wolfsburg, West Germany (1968–74), Hannover, West Germany (1974–83), Puebla, Mexico (1970–80), and Jakarta, Indonesia (1973–80), the Type 181 shared some of its mechanicals with Volkswagen's Type 1 (Beetle) and the pre-1968 Volkswagen Microbus, and the floorpan of the Type1 Karmann-Ghia, and its concept with the company's Kübelwagen, which had been used by the German military during World War II.
different for you than for me or you'd never take such a risk

Taken with the Leica Summicron 35mm f/2 mounted on the Sony Nex 3 using Hawk Peng's Helicoid M-mount to E-mount adapter. The Hawk adapter functions as a macro tube allowing close focus with rangefinder lenses. I didn't nail focus on this shot, but the adapter seems to work pretty well. Found this thing on the counter at Jupiter House on the square.
At the entrance to a shop in Kensington.
Taken with Meyer-Optik Görlitz Orestor 100mm f2.8 lens on Panasonic GX7.

Thermal Saran~Matte Beige to Salmon Pink
I havent done this in over a year. This is also the first time to use a Blank Scalp
Learning Lessons:
1) I marked the scalp
a) Grid into fourths
b) then mark your rows and thatch lines.
However, Use a pencil rather than a pen. The Pen Smudged so I had to Sand the area closest to the Scalp Line
2) If you use a needle you don't have to Pre-drill your holes
3) Leave about 1mm from the scalp line, un-rooted.
I used the lock loop method. It took about 18 hours of total work time and 1 and 1/2ounce of saran.
Now I have to Style it
Note:I don't use a crochet hook cause I'm always afraid of tearing the scalp. So I use a needle a thread. It's more masochistic, but it's the only way I know how :D
Here's my favorite tutorial video. Further into the video you will see the needle and thread method
