Taken mid-September 2006 -- he'll be three (3!!) on October 31st. :)
Amelia Thimble basic dolls, with new eyes and wigs, are now twins Posy and Poppy.
Poppy wears a modified pink polka dot shirt by Ty Lil Ones, pink pants from Mattel's Kelly doll, and shoes from Wilde Imagination.
Posy wears a blue top by Wilde Imagination, custom made skirt by Thimble House, and shoes from Mattel.
Blue Bells are sometimes known as Fairy Thimbles and Dead Man's Bells. I'm told people in Scotland believe spells are cast on anyone who dares to pick or damage the delicate blooms. The tradition continues in the hope of protecting the lovely plants.

A gift from my Grandma when I was a child. It originally had a pair of scissors on it to. The scissors had a hinge and the blades opened and closed. However, this was a point of weakness and the scissors eventually fell apart, so I removed the one remaining blade.
I buckled down this morning and did all the stitching on the binding. Voila! I'm delighted with this simple and cheerful quilt for the summer. I used a charm pack, plus additional fabric (not from the same line) for the borders and backing. The binding is the same fabric as the back, as I really liked it. Instead of quilting it, I tied it, using a random placement of blue and green embroidery floss knots. It's about 60" square.
