These are the remains of a powder factory that was built underground during WW2.
The facility was maintained until 1973 when it was abandoned.

Retired in 2001 from service, I probably rode on this 500 times as I lived along the line in two different homes growing up.
The building in the background was the first grade school built around 1905. I wasn't around then!
These gorgeous wombats are only a few months old, I was lucky enough to visit, while on Flinders Island, the home of a very caring lady who rescues joeys from their mums after roadkill, see below the story...

These are Sandhill Cranes heading north to their Breeding grounds. I know why they are called cranes because one needs to crane one's neck in order to see them; they fly so high.
These milestones were placed on the roads of Russia in the 18-19 centuries.. Radishchevo village, Kuznetsk District, Penza Region, Russia.
These seemingly autonomous machines emerged from the far side of the planet. Nobody ever discovered exactly where they came from or who created them.

These Plum blossoms were enjoying the last sun rays at sunset in Juan Carlos I Park. On that day we could admire the Spring blossoms with few people surrounding us, something we appreciate a lot in these days with the pandemic.

These Trasylvanian cables make a fine open perch, in particular for the male Cuckoo, enabling him to cock and spread his tail and droop his wings as he swivels his body, something he does during courtship.

These are the tulips and pansies in front of the palace of Ludwigsburg and the puddle is the result of the frequent rain these days. On my last visit to the park I noticed for the first time that one of the puddles showed the reflections of the bell towers of two churches. The churches are located at the market place and at a considerable distance from the park.

These lenticular clouds always amaze me. People are always telling me they are aliens 😂. They are incredible cloud formation in my opinion. Mount Adams in southern Washington State on 2018-11-15
These grow abundantly in San DIego county, and, no doubt, elsewhere. The flowers are small, but they are pretty.

These ancient rocks are of volcanic origin. Rocky Cape is located between two large extinct volcanoes on Tasmania's north west coast. The Nut at Stanley (which we saw in the distance yesterday) and Table Cape to the east. The light the morning I took this picture certainly made me feel like I'd been transported back in time.
These ducks were having fun playing in the water against a background of fall leaves.
I've learned that: Those small daily happenings are what make life so spectacular.

I hope you like this photo, because it was EXTREMELY difficult to get. this is a HUGE touristy spot and i had to wait a while to get the bridge clear of people and then I only had 6 shots to chose from.
i'll be gone the rest of the night too, so ill have to catch up on your streams later, im going to a huge sand castle lighting on Hampton Beach, ill take pictures :D

These Californian sea lions often congregate in large groups on the piers and docks across California's coastal cities. Their bark can be heard from a far distance, but for the most part, they just sleep......
These little birds sure do pack a punch! this one was aggressively displaying defending their territory while I was doing a hike near the coast!
These daffodils were not perfect anymore, but the sun made it perfect enough for me:-) Taken at The Keukenhof Holland of 2009:-)
These 2 cuties were playing and chasing each other around having the time of their lives. I managed to get this cheeky shot of them as they stopped momentarily while we walked past with our 3 doggies. Yes we have acquired another one! 😉 I hope you are having a good day just like these 2 😁
