These tiny fellows took some spotting among the pebbles on the shore line of the loch.
It was not until they moved that I had any chance of a photograph.
Superb camouflage which they need to keep safe from predators like the hooded crows that patrol the loch side for such treats.
These are deceptively tricky to glue in place. Too much adhesive and things blob out and look like crap, too little and air pockets/voids are very obvious
One nice thing about a teen dressing up for Halloween: just maybe part of the costume can be worn again. These are pretty cool!
These photos of Erin are from the second part of our shoot at the Star River Walk Park. Erin was such a blast to shoot with. She did an outfit change hiding behind trees. The trail was crowded that day so she had to keep hopping around for privacy and ended up with a bunch of wood chips in her pants. The things we go through. We were so busy shooting that we didn't notice the sky turned black and we made it back to our cars seconds before the skies opened up on us. Thanks to Erin for such a fun shoot!
I took these photos at the end of April 2020 in Star River Walk Park.
Photograph taken between ca. 1880 and 1900.

In the past 24 hours I captured 13 stray dog!!! This group (a mom and 3 pups) were abandoned by their owner in the backyard after he moved out. When I got there, I smelled something horrible, and as I got closer, I noticed that the puppies were eating a dead cat the mom probably brought over. I gave them cheeseburgers, and the left the cat and we started working on building trust. (the mom was not there yet). After I secured the two pups, the mom showed up. I offered her cheeseburgers as well, and by using a simple trick, I got a leash around her neck, and after that I was also able to capture another pup. (It's a long story). I took them to a friend of mine who is fostering them.
I really need help with paying for all these dogs being spayed/neutered.

These woodpeckers prefer to perch high on trees or posts and dart out to grab bugs in mid air ( I watched them today hovering like kingbirds ).....no drilling holes or poking and probing for these guys. Seems wise .
These two little ones were pretty cooperative, but awake the whole time until I was packing up ready to leave :)
These photos are from the second half of a shoot with did with Kim in September 2021. She ditched her extensions and was herself. This was one intense shoot. Kim was in charge. We had no set plan, I just followed her with the camera. What followed was a mix of emotions - power, sadness, wonder, despair, and confidence. What an amazing young lady. I took these photos near the Star River Walk Park in Star, Idaho.
These photos are from Saturday - the second day of Wondercon in Anaheim. I knew this was going to be a busy day - and it was. It was absolutely fantastic to be able to shoot with so many fine Cosplayers. Their costumes were great and they were so much fun to work with. I hope they like the photos I took. Thanks to everyone that let me shoot with them.
I took these photos in March 2018.

my beauty salon moved to a new location. yesterday i got a haircut for the first time after their relocation, and i found these fantastic chairs. they are cool to see, comfortable to sit. i don't think that it fits our apartment, but i may want one for my imaginary spaceship :D
Just an update:
I've gotten a new amount of goons and I'm making a more advanced make. There's gonna be a new man in town from Alabama.
These are full image shots (not cropped) taken in my kit lens. I sure need to get me a decent macro lens. I would like to here your recommendation. I am not sure what to get: Tamron 90mm VC, Sigma 105mm OS, or Canon 100mm USM. These three are within the same price range. The canon is lacking the IS but probably the best match for my Canon 7D mark II. The Canon 100mm 2.8L is very expensive and i am not sure if the price is justified. Thank you for your input !
Thanks to all who viewed, commented on and or faved my photo. It is greatly appreciated. Raed :)
