The pilot boat following us out of Port Canaveral a few minutes before the STS-119 shuttle launch.
Our ship passed jetty park just as the shuttle began lifting off. I only realized in hindsight that those noises I heard just before launch were the boos of everyone watching the launch from Jetty Park. Our five-deck ship blocked their view of liftoff...

Text prints and japanese fabrics, black and also colorful are something that say modern to me. But I've also tried to make a modern interpretation of my vintage block because vintage is the new modern, right. I think I did pretty good;-)

10/13/2013: It was a long day of work getting a costume finished for a client, but I'm glad it's all done. I sent over a picture to her and finished up some details. She's promised to send me some pictures of her granddaughter in the Boo costume and I'll post those later.

An evolution of pioneer building methods is evident in this home. The earliest part, built about 1845, is of fachwerk construction typical in early German houses. Later additions were of log and clapboard frame construction. Early area settlers Christian and Katharina Ressmann purchased the home in 1866 and in 1946 members of their family sold it to Hilmar and Christine Boos. The house remained in the Boos family until the 1970s. (1983) (Marker No. 10100)
Mr. Clean took the girls up to Ithaca yesterday where they spent the day hiking and swimming and playing in the waterfalls. Here's the Boo going down a "water slide".

see the boo boo on the left sock? i dropped a stitch and didn't notice it until i was past the point where i would be willing to turn back. i will fix it when i am done. am I crazy or just lazy?
I can't really remember today. I've been exhausted. I'm so exhausted.
Anyway, today I brainstormed band names for Jazz Pop. Examples: Ivy and the bandtastics, Atticus and the Boo Radleys, Ivy and the Physcadelic Drugs, etc etc. After that, well nothing of importance. Except I found out that recording stuff is so fun! Hon has to make a Journalism advertisement to I've been using the camcorder a lot. I made a Journalism, Inspired by Journalism video. Like that youtube video, kittens, inspired by kittens! It's so fun! Then, I made such good cookies. Jesus lord they were good. Then I took a nap, from which I gained no energy. I'm still so tired but I can't sleep. Fuck. What a terrible cycle.
Anyway, here is a picture of some of my cd collection. There's more in the car but I'm trying to make it bigger.

The rustoleum plastic primer didn't work for me. I experienced chipping at the ankles and knees. I did thin coats, peeled off the boo boos, still didn't take well. I became frustrated and decided to sand off the primer.

Taylor looks about like she was maybe 4 yrs. old...not sure. Look up close, you can see the boo boo on Jerads nose....he pushed his bike tire and stuck his nose on it to see what would happen and it tore the skin off his nose......he never did that again!!!!!!!!!! LOL
