Evening view of the iconic little church in Theth village, Albania, the bluer version was taken a few minutes after the warmer toned version. I thought I'd share both.

IMPORTANT:
I just noticed that many (40) of my photos had "lost" all the faves you had deposited! And this, for a reason that is unknown to me :-(( (Flickr bug?)
Most of them had received more than 50 favorites ...

Je viens de remarquer que plusieurs (40) de mes photos avaient « perdu » toutes les faves que vous aviez déposé!!! Et ceci, pour une raison qui m’est inconnue :-(( (bug Flickr?)
La plupart d’entre elles avaient reçu plus de 50 favorites…
Je les ai déposées dans un album spécial : www.flickr.com/photos/thethi/albums/72157693284042021

The so called "accursed" mountains, or recently named Albanian Alps, seen from the road to Theth, an isolated village at the end of the road that is quite busy with tourists nowadays, and the prices are almost shockingly high for this part of Europe, the last 15 kilometers of the road was paved this year, I guess it has to be paid for somehow, at least they didn't fall for the Chinese loan trap the way Montenegro did.

This was taken just after sunset, looking directly into a crescent moon as it is setting in the west.
Even a small crescent moon provides an incredible amount of light, and this was a challenge to get enough foreground detail while shooting directly into the moon.
At night, there is something about this tree that really reminds me of that classic movie "The Thing", from 1982 starring Kurt Russell and directed by John Carpenter.
It was good to get out on the Silver Machine again today after a couple of weeks away...
especially as the weather is set to change soon..

Aujourd'hui 27 septembre, c'est la fête de la Communauté française de Belgique (terme constitutionnel).
Aussi appelée de manière officieuse Communauté Wallonie-Bruxelles, elle est l'une des trois communautés fédérales de la Belgique. Elle a pour capitale Bruxelles.
Depuis le 15 juillet 1998, le drapeau wallon est également et officiellement celui de la Région wallonne, ce qu'il était officieusement depuis 65 ans (c'est la coq de Paulus, familièrement appelé coq hardi ou encore coq wallon, rouge sur fond jaune)
