Antes de empezar a leer, siempre hay un momento de vacilación en que me pregunto: ¿pasará hoy? No lo sé; nunca lo sé de antemano, y en el fondo me es igual. Sé que las probabilidades y la ciencia están en mi contra. Pero también sé que la ciencia no es infalible; la experiencia me lo ha demostrado. Por eso creo que los milagros, por inexplicables o increíbles que parezcan, existen y pueden contradecir el orden natural de las cosas. De modo que una vez más, como todos los días, empiezo a leer el cuaderno en voz alta para que ella me oiga, con la esperanza de que el milagro que ha llegado a dominar mi vida vuelva a triunfar. peeeeero qe estupides, qe estupidA, creer en algo qe en el fondo se qe no existe, un amor, una historia como esta estupida pelicula la pinta no existe, es un mal para la humanidad hacer cosas asi, porqe gente estupida como yo piensa qe remotamente puede ser posible, y finalmente terminan amargandose la vida porqe se da cuenta tarde o temprano qe jamas pasara algo siqiera similar al de este tipo de pelicula, pero qe le vamos a hacer soy una mamona, pero me conforta saber no soy la unica qe se cree el cuento...

A friend at work loaned me her dvd of "The Notebook" this evening... surprisingly, as many movies as I go to. This is one that escaped me. I had heard how sad it was... but as I was watching it. I kept thinking "this aint so sad". It was a very sweet, enjoyable romantic movie, and the opening scene did tug at my heart... but no tears... then it got to the last 5 minutes, and I was crying uncontrollably. OMG, that had to be one of the most romantic endings I have ever seen... Jesus Christ.

Not the movie, the book :D
I haven't read the whole book but i've read a few chapter and it really is so much better than the movie.
i'm a little annoyed that the horizon isn't straight but that can't be helped.
I did a colour! sort of. Ha.
I forgot my remote so i had to do a 10 second dash. Not the best thing in a lake with wellies on. i got wet feet.
1 week until Paramore's new album. I will beg, borrow, steal, if I have to.

It took a lot of hassling to get him to dress up like this for Halloween but he finally agreed! The girls thought the costume was cute, the men had no clue what we were. Many people thought I was a vintage civil war person...
How we did it
Noah Calhoun Costume:
White Dress Shirt, Gray work pants, Black Sneakers, Scruffy beard... all items he already owned or achieved so it was FREE!
Allie Hamilton Costume:
Dress: Vintage blue shirt/waitressing/housekeeping dress from eBay (about $15). I altered the collar, short sleeves and buttons to be trimmed/covered in blue floral fabric to look like her dress in the movie (the patterned fabric was free since it was scraps left over in my mom's sewing room). I painted a white buckle on the belt of the dress to match hers in the movie.
Accessories: 365 envelopes tied together (yes I really did count out that many! about $4 at the dollar store) Pearl necklace and earrings. White short heels.
Hair & Makeup: Bright red lipstick. Hair parted and pulled to the back in a low ponytail.
*Note, there is one colored envelope at the top of the stack that is opened with the letter sticking out. I actually freeze framed the movie to duplicate the very last letter that he wrote to her.
Total Cost of both costumes together: $19
