Zac Efron and director Scott Hicks join local celebrities for the world premier of The Lucky One at Bondi Junction's event cinema

Well I'm back from my vacation! I had a lot of fun! It was nice to relax and pretty much not have anything to do. I spent every second I got reading this book by Nicholas Sparks. (he is my absolute favorite author!) I finished the book before we got home this morning. It was, of course, very very good!

In 1981, Tim and some pals founded an avant-guarde theatre troupe called the Actors' Gang. Their motto? 'Dare to be Stupid.' Funny enough, playing stupid is what made Tim famous. Tim's first big role was that of the "dim-witted" pitcher Nuke LaLoosh in 'Bull Durham'. Next up, Tim played a haunted Vietnam vet in 'Jacob's Ladder', followed by a slimy movie exec in Robert Altman's film 'The Player.' Then, Tim moved into the director's seat. He made and starred in 'Bob Roberts' - a satire about a right-wing, folk-singing political candidate. From there, he directed the death row drama 'Dead Man Walking', earning him an Oscar nomination. Along the way, Tim kept acting and doing amazing work. 'Shawshank Redemption,' anyone? Tim's now starring in 'The Lucky Ones.' It's about three soldiers home on leave, who end up on an impromptu roadtrip.

Zac Efron

Zac Efron and director Scott Hicks join local celebrities for the world premier of The Lucky One at Bondi Junction's event cinema

The Lucky One World Premiere featuring Zac Efron at Bondi Junction Westfield.

Ok so, a few months ago I dropped my camera on my concrete porch and busted it into pieces. I managed to get it all back together but it realllllly messed up the quality. Causing everything on the right to streak red and black noise to show in the photo. That's why I've not really uploaded photos lately. I had to share this one though no matter the quality. This bird JUST flew into my bay window. Hearing the noise, I went to find out what the sound was and found this guy on his side, his eye's closed and twitching. Really broke my heart, so I went outside in 20 degree weather to try and help this guy through his last moments. I found a stick near by and I was petting him with it, to let him know he wasn't alone. After 15 minutes, he just wasn't moving or giving up, so I rustled my feet around and that made him bounce to his feet. I still sat there with him for a while until he would hold his eye's open. I took this photo of him, then came back inside because I felt I had done all I can do. From the warmth inside the house I watched his bird friends come up and peck him on the back a few times and he took off flying. So glad I went and helped him or he just would've gave up. Hope all is well with everyone and you're staying warm. :)

Does anyone know what type of bird this is?
