"It is not so much for its beauty that the forest makes a claim upon men's hearts, as for that subtle something, that quality of air that emanation from old trees, that so wonderfully changes and renews a weary spirit." ~ Robert Louis Stevenson

Sometimes I have trouble keeping the texture in a made texture. This will provide a good texture.

Although photography is my main passion, cooking and psychology are close behind. I find that cooking, just like film photography, is a journey of exciting non stop learning. I feel a similarity in the two if you consider learning about film to learning about agriculture, and the growing process of food. How food is grown and raised is so important to the final product that I am saddened by many convenience and yield farming methods used today. Once you have the ingredients on the chopping block, then I compare photography and cooking like being out taking photos. Putting the right balance of ingredients for just the right amount of time to create that perfect final product. Put some love and passion into both and you can't go wrong.

This Sunday was Fathers Day in my country and as I was making a card for my father I found this piece of corrugated cardboard in my drawer. It has a kind of wavy structure.

Happy MacroMonday and don't get seasick from looking at this ; )

For this week's Marco Monday, Texture.

Another day where I could just not decide which to post.

Captured with iPhone and Olloclip 21x Marco Lens, edited on the iPad, first in Snapseed to do some minor basic adjustments with brightness and contrast and to crop it square and frame.

Then I took it into Fotograf to convert to BW, I used one of my saved presets with a bit more tweaking.

Have you guessed what it is yet?

If you guessed Tomato's skin (without peeking at the tags) you would be correct.

Remember when MudHoney debuted the Priya Bed at Cinema 2012? I do. I went nuts for that bed. It was expensive and worth every penny - I bought the PG version and have used it many times in stylings. The bed curtains are so versatile. You can unlink them and use them on a window or door opening. The Priya Bed is the perfect compliment to MudHoney's Alicia Vanity set available this month at The Liaison Collaborative.

Enjoy!

Guilfoyles Volcano at the RBG in Melbourne..

"Guilfoyle’s Volcano was built in 1876 and was used to store water for Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne. After lying idle for 60 years, it is now restored as part of a significant landscape development project called Working Wetlands. .

.

This spectacular and historic water reservoir has commanding views of the city, and its striking landscape design showcases low-water use plants. Boardwalks and viewing platforms give visitors the opportunity to explore this long-hidden but remarkable feature of the Royal Botanic Gardens.".

Schloss Wilhelmsthal wurde Mitte des 18. Jahrhunderts
