Modern interpretation of a toile pattern design referencing the 1957 film 'Funny Face' starring Audrey Hepburn.The film centres on a shy bookstore employee Jo (Audrey Hepburn) who has been scouted by a New York City-based fashion photographer Dick Avery (Fred Astaire) who he believes has the potential to become a successful model. He gets Jo to go with him to France, where he snaps more pictures of her against iconic Parisian backdrops. My toile design references the Parisian scenery and uses a mix of traditional painted media and digital elements to create my final design.

This scarf turned out beautiful, sorry I don't have a picture of the finished felt on the chiffon! The participants can bring in their own scarves or old silks from home to work on. This nice scarf was brought in and given new life and energy through the felting process!
