El sitio donde se localiza actualmente la cabecera municipal de Soledad de Graciano Sánchez, se conoció durante el siglo XVIII como Paraje y Puesto de los Ranchos de Nuestra Señora de la Soledad y era un lugar de tránsito hacia las minas de Cerro de San Pedro.
En este lugar se edificó una ermita a Nuestra Señora de la Soledad. Según la creencia de sus habitantes, José Isidro Debo, quien cuidaba de esa ermita, recibió de manera prodigiosa una imagen de Cristo crucificado, la que ofreció al culto, bajo la advocación de Nuestro Señor del Refugio.
Actualmente, en Soledad de Graciano Sánchez se conserva una magnífica iglesia de estilo neoclásico, que es la parroquia del lugar y está considerada monumento nacional desde 1951. Este templo fue dedicado y bendecido el 6 de abril de 1856 por el primer obispo potosino, Pedro Barajas.

I endeavoured to include newspaper articles that would have had the support of a team of fact-checkers and proofreaders; after all, the reputation of any paper is built on the veracity of their information.
I also wondered if perhaps JIF was once called JIFFY before being purchased by larger conglomerates, but it seems to have been christened JIF from the very beginning:
"In 1958, the brand rollout in the US involved a heavily publicized house-to-house distribution of free sample jars from special trucks emblazoned with the then JIF mascot, the "JIFaroo", a blue kangaroo. An early slogan was "JIF is never dry; a touch of honey tells you why."
