This particular UK road-sign really winds me up anyway, primarily because of the out of date stereotyping & sweeping generalisations applied to older people by the use of those silhouetted figures. However, the typo adds insult to injury!
Not content with removing the apostrophe from street signs around Bristol because it is just too inconvenient, Bristol City Council now appear to be unable to include actual letters in their signage.

For the scavenger hunt. Poem number 8. I chose this representation as my H and I spend a lot of time writing to each other, whether it's proper letters, emails, blueys, or texts. Life dictates that this is the way our relationship has to be. Although it's hard when we he is away, seeing a letter come through the door is one of the best feelings in the world. So it's not all bad.
i carry your heart with me
i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

Arthur Fellig's notable mobile darkroom would be wonderfully imagined inside of a taxi cab (for my next design) but here divinely transformed into a chinese country kitchen; a way to honor his life (with a more homelike, gourmet touch). Industrial water jugs loaded into the back seat and fresh fowl in a comfortable cage allows him to park in an alley (close to a gutter for cleaning the fowl) for a healthy farm-fresh meal. He can supplant this with live fish and fresh greens from any Manhattan market. In the winter he can grill sesame buns the old-fashioned way and have these with a simple green soup for an invigorating early breakfast just before heading out to the streets with his camera. Chinese condiments are held by a rail and a bamboo brush keeps the mobile kitchen clean. The hobby of country style cooking will not only raise his spirits but extend his life as well.
Re-envisioned for his old age, Weegee would have to rely on Polaroid camera backs for his Speed Graphic, placing them on a custom two-tiered brass and wood shelf at the front seat. Drawers for Nat Sherman's, flash bulbs, film and a pull out 'Weegee board' for the photojournalist's typewriter are all considered here. Strong shock absorbers and larger tires would have to be outfitted particularly to bear the weight of the iron stove.

DAY 7
We arrive back on the Burg, we had seen the set-up earlier, but not paid it much attention.
These things pop up, come and go.
This time it is different, there is a buzz in the air, and lots of security…
We sit on the terrace as more and more people gather, we ask the waiter and he mumbles something about a parade and royalty attending.
So, unwittingly, we are about to witness something special!
The empty chairs are beginning to fill with lots of dressed up, uniformed and decorated men, plus ladies in their fineries, le beau mode!
I check the batteries of my camera, like a chef sharpens his knives before cooking, lol
I wish you a day full of beauty and thank you for your visit, Magda, (*_*)

I had to steal this brilliant quote from Texts From Last Night. The second I saw it, I knew it had to be stitched.

I remember reading when I was young (with a flashlight under the covers) were written by Edgar Allen Poe...
The Raven is my favorite...
They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery... but I'm getting fed up with seeing my pics used on other sites and even the Gaynetwork tv channel. Not sure how these people expect to meet anyone when they look nothing like their profile pic!
So, just to clarify...
I DO NOT have an active profile on:
Gay Network
xhamster
Tranny Contacts
Tgirl.nl
Birch Place
Adult Friend Finder
Any profile where you see my pics and the username contains either Stella or Camilla it is not me, but some a*sehole in Wales that has been using my pics for years on various sites.
I live in Milton Keynes, England... any other location will not be me.
I don't text or phone people unless I know them really well and have previously met them in person.
My pics usually have a watermark along the bottom, but it seems that it's quite easy to chop off. I'm looking to find a way of increasing the size of the watermark without ruining the pics.
Rant over, and thank you to everyone else for your continued support
Penny

Description :
Although difficult to quantify, some lenses enhance overall image quality by producing more subjectively pleasing out-of-focus areas. Good bokeh is especially important for large-aperture lenses, macro lenses, and long telephoto lenses because they are typically used with a shallow depth of field. Bokeh is also important for medium telephoto "portrait lenses" (typically 85–150 mm on 35 mm format) because in portraiture photography, the photographer typically seeks to obtain a shallow depth of field to achieve an out-of-focus background and make the subject stand out.
Bokeh characteristics may be quantified by examining the image's circle of confusion. In out-of-focus areas, each point of light becomes an image of the aperture, generally a more or less round disc. Depending how a lens is corrected for spherical aberration, the disc may be uniformly illuminated, brighter near the edge, or brighter near the center. Lenses that are poorly corrected for spherical aberration will show one kind of disc for out-of-focus points in front of the plane of focus, and a different kind for points behind. This may actually be desirable, as blur circles that are dimmer near the edges produce less-defined shapes which blend smoothly with the surrounding image. Lens manufacturers including Nikon, Minolta, and Sony make lenses designed with specific controls to change the rendering of the out-of-focus areas.
The shape of the aperture has an influence on the subjective quality of bokeh as well. For conventional lens designs (with bladed apertures), when a lens is stopped down smaller than its maximum aperture size (minimum f-number), out-of-focus points are blurred into the polygonal shape formed by the aperture blades. This is most apparent when a lens produces hard-edged bokeh. For this reason, some lenses have many aperture blades and/or blades with curved edges to make the aperture more closely approximate a circle rather than a polygon. Minolta has been on the forefront of promoting and introducing lenses with near-ideal circular apertures since 1987, but, since bokeh has become a recognized property of lenses, most other manufacturers now offer lenses with shape-optimized diaphragms, at least for the domain of portraiture photography. In contrast, a catadioptric telephoto lens renders bokehs resembling doughnuts, because its secondary mirror blocks the central part of the aperture opening. Recently, photographers have exploited the shape of the bokeh by creating a simple mask out of card with shapes such as hearts or stars, that the photographer wishes the bokeh to be, and placing it over the lens.[11]
Leica lenses, especially vintage ones, are often claimed to excel in bokeh quality[citation needed], although Leica photographers have tended to make more use of maximum aperture due to the lenses' ability to maintain good sharpness at wide openings and the suitability of the Leica camera system for available-light theatre work and reportage. This reputation is founded on the excellence of Leitz/Leica pre-war lenses, which were at the forefront of complex mathematical design and manufacturing know-how, at a time when all computations and glass making were done by hand.
The Minolta/Sony STF 135mm f/2.8 [T4.5] (with STF standing for smooth trans focus) is a lens which is specifically designed to produce pleasing bokeh. An apodization filter is used to soften the aperture edges which results in a smooth defocused area with gradually fading circles. Those qualities make it the only lens of this kind currently on the market.
The Nikon 105mm DC and 135mm DC lenses (DC stands for "Defocus Control") have a control ring that permits the over-correction or under-correction of spherical aberration to change the bokeh in front of and behind the focal plane.

Beta is a test preview of the change that is getting ready to be implemented soon. It can be for a limited group of flickr members, intended to seek feedback and correct faults ( if any), before it is made public.
Change is good and public has always welcomed good changes. The preference for Windows XP by most people even after the introduction of Vista is a classic example of public acceptance. The public liked and preferred the predecessor ( Windows XP ) and the follower ( Windows 7 and Windows 8 ) versions of Vista. A change is good and often gladly welcomed by public, if it provides more utilities and user friendliness, without depriving even a single advantage of the predecessor.
The Beta version is unacceptable to the majority of Flickr users* ( who happened to experience it ) , because it's not user friendly and has only disadvantages to mention. *Please check the Beta feedback : Completed / Top ideas / Hot ideas
The layout itself is a disaster. Please check : Try our new photo experience beta / Comment box
However they try, it's quite evident that it's impossible to provide more space for descriptions, comment box, and comments; not to mention comments with pictures , group invites / awards. The more they try to fix it, the more cumbersome it becomes. The buddy icons now appear as dots making the page more unaesthetic than what you see in the earlier pictures of beta . They are desperately trying to make it appealing and user friendly, which is literally impossible with the proposed layout .
It's a big challenge for the programmers to try find means to provide more space in a vertical column which is already cramped.
Is it possible to make a rugby stadium inside a 100 square feet ground ?
