"Tex Randall", at 47 feet, was once the tallest cowboy in Texas. When erected in 1959 Eisenhower was president, "Charlie Brown" was a hit on the airwaves and Marilyn Monroe was starring in "Some Like it Hot." Tex still overlooks Highway 60 on the outskirts on Canyon, TX and is due for restoration this Fall.
One by one I have introduced the tabby boys to the canoe. Tex the runt of the litter took it all in and loved it. I think I have a budding sailor on my hands.

I remember this big guy from the 60's... I first saw him when i was just a little girl.
Well I wasn't sure what to take a picture of tonight, and well this came to mind well it started to rain. I tried to take pictures in katies mom's garden but couldnt get anything that I wanted.
So instead I got Katie to stand out side with her lovely Arc'teryx jacket on and collect water! No flash with this photo I used the flash on my iPhone to create a fill light on the water drops so I could get a fast enough shutter speed!
I have always assumed Tex to be the youngest of the tabby boys. He was always the smallest and the one with the most attitude plus he was the one Charlie chose to be his.
Tex is also the naughtiest by far, constantly pushing the boundaries. He is however, so sweet and a really affectionate little boy.
Him and Tom are bonded but he doesn't get on well with Ted. They are ok but if there is a scrap it is always Tex picking on Ted.
He constantly is jumping the cat fence and has to be sin binned but he is the best behaved and bravest when we go out on our walks.
I took him with Charlie, Bella and I the other day and he followed us, so into the water we went and so did he.
I'm crazy for foil !!!!!
