Day 15 – Tethering in LR3

photolynch.com/365/?p=127

(NOTE: I haven’t given up on my 365 project. In actuality I’ve been sick since Saturday night with Strep Throat, high fevers. Finally got on some medicine and am feeling a lot better now. I have actually shot photos every day for the 365 though, so no worries. Just posting them late)

I woke up this morning at 6AM feeling as if I had shards of glass going down my throat every time I swallowed. I knew it wasn’t a good sign, but I was able to get through the morning drinking a lot of Hot Green Tea with Honey and gargling salt walter. I didn’t do much today photography wise, but since my trial version of Aperture 3 had ran out over the weekend I downloaded the new Adobe Lightroom 3 Beta 2 and decided to give it a go with the 365 project being a good testing ground. It does have a cool feature (that Aperture is supposed to have, yet it didn’t seem to work on my camera) where you an tether the camera straight into LR. This is really a valuable tool when on a shoot with your laptop and a whole crew that is taking a look at the shots as they come in. It is always nice to have a huge reference vs. the back of the camera. I thought it was kind of cool that I took a photo of my screen showing an image of my camera and screen which was showing an image of my screen…. Yeah, I’m a little nerdy like that. :)

Enjoy

Here at the end of the day I have a rudimentary answer to my wondering about drowning ants. The ant rafts have made their way to reeds along the end of the pond. And, some of the ants have sprouted wings. I suppose the hills will be carried on by a few ...

Horses..>i guess they got bored of looking at people?

Our 2019 trip to Italy, this time with friends Ray and Andy (Aus) and Nick and Katherine (UK). We picked up our hire cars and left Florence for San Gimignano. Our farm stay near San Gimignano was close to Siena where there was a market day. Arriving at Cortona we spent time looking around. The next morning we took a drive up to Monte above Cortona. A greta view of Lake Trasimeno. We left Cortona to drive to Volterra and stopped at Pienza on the way. Along SP146 we located the Cappella Madonna di Vitaleta. Later we arrived in San Quirico and then Montalcino. We had three days in Volterra exploring all the sights. We are back in Florence after dropping off the hire cars. We take a bus to Piazzale Michelangelo and the next day visit the Palazzo Pitti.

Vintage Japanese beads culled from several damaged necklaces make up the majority of this necklace.

Old holiday snap but there don't seem to be a lot of pictures of Expo 2002 on the web so I added it.
