Leica M9 with a Leica Visoflex 3 and the original 200mm f/4.5 Telyt lens @ f/4.5. The original 200mm Telyt was the first true telephoto lens made for the Leica. This is one of my first test shots, and I think it's going to be an interesting lens to play with. The minimum distance is 300cm, or nearly 10 feet. The copy I just purchased includes the lens hood.
quick photo from earlier before I finished sewing the rest of the dress. just snaps & maybe a bow at the front to do now, I've decided against the pink pom poms.
Over the weekend of 14th -15th September 2024, a two car Xplorer consisting of cars 2502/2522 was used on a number of what seems to be some particular test/trial runs, which included several runs from the Meeks Road Goods Junction to Hurstville and return.
Seeing an Xplorer on the Illawarra line is quite a rare sight, as seen here with the cars passing through on the Up through Carlton.
Testing out my new and Humble FinePix AV150. a DSLR is just too bulky to keep around for everyday use :)

This is a test shot using a piece of expired Agfa Brovira photo paper in a 35mm film canister pinhole camera, which was left on an outside window ledge. Exposure here is about 2 weeks, then simply scanned and inverted, with a little contrast enhancement. Image formed purely by exposure, no chemical development has taken place.
Testing Canon defaults. This one needed some sensor adjustments and a bit less haste (thus the blur).
Mr. W.W. Ballard inspecting the "Hybrid Test". In this test, an inter-varietal study is being made between three parents, F1 and F2 hybrids of these parents, and three self-pollinated generations of seed of each parent.
Test describes thsi picture very well. I found this old ice-glasses (turned out to be my dad's), and tested if they fit (yes, they do, very well). Then I was to lazy to search a mirror, and tested if my cam can do it (yes, it can). Then I tested how to do a colormapping in Gimp, and well... this is the result. I post it here jsut to see if someone has some tips or questions on one of the above topics, since from a photography standpoint this picture is really crappy...
Another quick test run...
Hopefully in a few days I will have a decent night with good seeing and no moon...
3x900 seconds Ha (Bin2)
ST10@-20C
Optic Wave 12" Newtonian with Parracor (f/5.3)
Tweaked the collimation a bit more but seeing was really poor...then cloudy
Fine adjustment takes only a minute once you are already close...and only very small turns of the screw.
EDIT Looks a lot darker at my work screen...in daylight...(!)
Shot a test roll of Illford XP5 120 format c41 black and white film which i (Poorly) developed at home using E6 chemicals. Mostly to see if the Mamiya 645 medium format camera works. Looks like I need to practice my film loading.
Camera: Mamiya 645m
Film: Illford XP5
Chemical: Illford e6
Scan: Epson V500 600Dpi Scans (lazy)
Lightroom curve adjustment, then Jpeg
