This friendly chap fixed my broken bike for an hour and then took it on a test ride! All he asked for was to share two large Beer Lao with me, which doesn't come easy for a drinking lightweight like me. After a friendly chat in mixed Thai and Lao I eventually staggered off on my bike in the hot afternoon sun.
