Not every day I pass about half a million dollars worth of fancy new electrical cars being hauled down the highway.
With the demise of Matchbox in U.K. Morrison stores just months away though unbeknown to anyone at the time, the summer of 2016 was business as usual with new batches appearing on their clip strips including this second recolour of the highly acclaimed Tesla Model S which just like the first saw many examples coming home with me! ;-)
The vehicle choice was inspired especially as this unlikely electric U.S. luxury car has made the transition to German marque obsessed Great Britain pretty successfully and thankfully Matchbox did an exception job modelling it! A deep and glossy metallic blue finish envelopes a highly accurate body which comes complete with lots of excellent tampo work and attractive wheels. Mint and boxed.
