I was very fortunate that the owner allowed me to sit inside. The driver's seat, even though it wasn't adjusted for my body, was comfortable. I feel uncomfortable in some cars as soon as my butt hits the seat. Not so, here.
HVAC and audio controls on the big touchscreen. Yes, there is a web browser with a 3G data connection. The owner cleverly displayed the Tesla webpage. There is also a phone app that communicates with the car. You can see its charge state, remotely lock or unlock, adjust the temperature before driving, and see the car's location.

The Model S became the first electric car to top the monthly new car sales ranking in any country, twice leading in Norway, in September and December 2013 and in Denmark December 2015.Global Model S sales passed the 150,000 unit milestone in November 2016, with the U.S. as the leading market with 57% of global sales its other leading markets being Norway, China, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, Canada, Denmark, Germany, and Switzerland..
In January 2019, Tesla discontinued the 75D version, making the 100D the base version of the Model S. In an engineering refresh in May 2019, range was increased to 370 mi (600 km) and smart air suspension was added. In February 2020 Tesla increased the range of the Model S to 390 mi.

The Tesla Model S is expected to have a swappable battery, and will feature a 17 in (43 cm) touchscreen computer with in-car 3G connectivity, enabling access to online services, or to check the battery's state of charge remotely
Even by the start of 2016 i'd perhaps already saturated my collection with these maroon Matchbox Tesla Model S models, thanks to plentiful stocks in my usual stockists including Poundworld they were unusually easy to obtain and even easier to drop in my basket! Somehow back in March 2016 on one of my usual diecast expeditions to Poundland I managed to convince myself life wouldn't be complete without just one more ;-)
All this amazing detailing and realism for just one Pound is one of the many delights of collecting Matchbox especially when its of a contemporary modern vehicle which is quickly becoming a common sight on our roads. Mint and boxed.
