At this moment, 2020, Tesla represents almost 50% of all electric cars in The Netherlands. But at the time of this photograph Tesla was still an exclusive car and very uncommon on our roads.
Here a Model S is being protected by a fine and well fitting suit.
The Tesla Model S was designed by Franz von Holzhausen. The first deliveries to the NL took place in Aug. 2013. At this moment some 6900 Model S are registered in our country.

The Tesla Model S was introduced in 2012. Sales in Europe started in 2013. The Netherlands was one of the first countries due to the tax incentives for electric cars. This year these incentives have been lowered and sales of the Model S have dropped sharply.

Thought I'd go black & white here. I'm a black and white enthusiast so when I saw the black Tesla Model S lit up - I wanted to make a b&w. So enjoy!

A Tesla Model S is charging up at a SuperCharger station. He got all the juice he could out of his Model S. I guess 0-60 in 5 seconds doesn't mix with the whole electric thing.
