Static displays at the British Grand Prix are usually abysmal and this year, once again, was no exception to the rule. However, the local constabulary usually attempt to make up for it.
For a few years Northamptonshire Police and the Central Motorway Police Group (CMPG) had a brilliant display of vehicles on show for the spectators.
Unfortunately, it was a smaller display this year but there were still some nice things on show.
Amongst a number of vehicles parked up alongside the old start/finish straight was this rather nice Tesla Model 3 demonstrator vehicle that was on loan to Northamptonshire Police for the weekend.
The British Grand Prix was held as a part of the UK Government's Events Research Programme, which meant a capacity crowd at a sporting event in the UK for the first time since early 2020 and no social distancing or face coverings required at the meeting.
Taking place on the day before pretty much all lockdown restrictions were lifted in England all attendees had to demonstrate that they had tested negative for Covid-19 from tests taken within 48 hours of the event or prove that they had had both vaccination jabs 14 days before arrival.
I can't tell you how good it felt to experience some sort of 'normality' after so long. The scorching summer weather made it even better!

I kinda knew it was gonna burn today, but I didn't know if it would show up since the horizon lines were covered, but we were treated to a great sunset burn. The Model 3's Glass roof were a treat to reflect off the epic colors of the clouds.
NOT A POLITIC POST! I just like the look of this Tesla. While I don’t generally like this matte look on vehicles, this finish defines the shape of this sedan. Love the grill treatment, too.
*According to the owner, he bought a ‘24 in late ‘23.
If in France and want buying a brand NEW US sedan/saloon car and altogether meaning neither a muscle car nor a SUV, then be set to contend with Tesla's options covering the Model S and smaller Model 3 stablemate as the latters turned to remain the only US made sedan/saloons now avialable NEW in France ....

Recently replaced my 2017 5K Retina with a Mac Studio and Studio Display monitor. The Mac Studio is mounted under my desk with a Oeveo mount.

I designed a first draft of my LEGO Truckla and the warehouse backdrop 7 months ago, and now I’ve made it even better and more accurate to the original photo. (www.instagram.com/p/B6EOSFvBAPT/) Surprisingly, this isn’t a render, but an actual photo! Enjoy!
The reassuringly stock looking Hot Wheels Tesla Model 3 has always impressed. So much so i'm surprised Matchbox haven't modelled this instead. Well proportioned, well detailed and glossily finished. Part of Case M found recently at ASDA. Mint and boxed.
