Anyone know what kind of spider this is? My sister just found it in our backyard. She walked into its web!
It's bigger than a quarter.
UPDATE: My sister and I caught it in an old fishbowl and released it at a local park.
This is a TERRIFYING BUG that hopped onto Josh's mirror this morning in North Vancouver, traveling with us from home, through downtown Vancouver, waited throughout breakfast, then traveled with us to MEC on Broadway before disappearing.
This scared the absolute bejeezus out of me. It's a ski lift-style ropeway, but there are NO seat belts/restraints. There's a pretty hefty drop if you were to fall, too. I held on to the bars for dear life.
this is what happens when you watch a dramatic indie film about failed marriages, broken dreams, depression, and infertility, featuring hot korean men. and your bff generously buys a bottle of wine for you two to sip during the film. ps - no self-respecting person would post a photo of herself like this but oh well it's funny
It's been a few years since we've been to the aquarium and we had a great time visiting it. A highlight was the Weeki Wachee Mermaids, visiting from Florida!
All alone he turns to stone
while holding his breath half to death
Terrified of whats inside
to save his life he crawls
like a worm from a bird
crawls like a worm from a bird
This was the only high building in Margate. It was really a bit terrifying.
Some of my classmates also called it “Stasi-Zentrale”.
The final stage is that the cage walkers get out and run on the outside of the cages. Then they did it juggling clubs. Then they did it blindfolded. It was genuinely frightening to watch.
"Terrified and petrified, we journied into the morbid mountions. knowing the troubles we are up against, we travel through, scared and determined."
Dear Matt: I found her, and I bought her drinks, and then I danced with her.
It's only a matter of time before she's mine.
Some people went to extremes to get their hits in. Dual wielding pillows were not uncommon. Others took to higher ground by standing on garbage cans, or sitting on shoulders.

OK, so at Neil's birthday party at Banwell Castle, the owners really seemed to have a thing for dogs. Lots of doggie paraphenalia lying around. I had the misfortune at dinner to be sat opposite a very disturbing realisation of a snarling poodle in pencil. I know they can be vicious, I really didn't want reminding over dinner.
- From an Alton Towers visit over #10YearsAgo and capturing some excitement or terrified looks of people on a drop section of a ride. Some people are acting more cool than others.
This is the graphic from the bag that my takeaway curry is delivered in. I find the man behind the counter terrifying as he looks like a ventriloquist's dummy (like in that horror film).
However, it must be more terrifying for the man receiving the bag as he realises that the picture on the bag is actually a picture of himself at that very moment!!!
The picture must recurse forever!!!
Meet the Armadillo girdled lizard! (Often known as an Ouroboros) These little guys get their name from a behavior that mimics armadillos! When threatened they curl up into a ball by biting their tail so that they are protected by their tough scales. So What's terrifying about these little guys?
They could go extinct. They used to popular in the pet trade but because of declining numbers they have been banned in many countries. If we're not careful with how we treat their environment and their species we could lose these cool little guys forever. #Ouroboros #terrifyingtuesday #Armadillo #lizard #beanmuseum
