Despite the fact that these "hills" in the Himalaya crest over 10,000 feet, small villages dot the valleys and locals have literally etched their presence into, and their livings out of, the local landscape. Besides the terraced farming, I'm blown away by the strung wiring. The widest footpath in this area could support two fully laden donkeys side-by-side. But not a vehicle, equipment, etc. The human factor in engineering, installing, and stringing the power through this valley is incredible.

Rice terraces at Tegallalang Village, this rice terraces has beautiful view with coconut trees and beautiful small river valley. Tegallalang Village well known with the village of handicrafts center especially for wholesale and export, a long of the road you will see a lot of shops, they sell variety of painted woodcarving with colorful designed. The painted woodcarving products that they sell made from very light wood with reasonable price, they do sell their handicrafts for retail too.
