This is bridge that replaced the washed out Kendall bridge. Part of this bridge was washed away once, and was replaced with the wood bridge on the left.

The infamous Samuel Beckett mural used to be here till it got in august 2008 badly defaced and in desperate need of restoration since that time its the wall covered with temporary stencil art @ cross of Blenheim Cresent and Portobello Road in Nothing Hill in London, England.
These are the hooks on the back of the bathroom door. It being a small room these hooks needed to be used to hold towels, but the towels slid off the hooks every time the door was opened. Very frustrating. Since this living arrangement is temporary we didn't want to put any money into fixing this small trouble, and the answer was OXO clips found in the kitchen section of shops. The tips of the clip have rubber, which holds onto the largest bath sheet with no trouble, and the rubberized holes in the handles keep the clip from sliding off the hook when the door is opened.

We were using this kitchen table in the dining room until we recently got a new set. I decided to use it as my bench while I waited for my friend at work to bring me the real jeweler's bench he's been promising me.
two weeks ago i posted a picture expressing our frustration at the lack of room to run around here.
well, we've found a less than ideal temporary solution for the moment. it's an elementary school field. it's not completely fenced and i am ever watchful for other pedestrians and dogs, but at 7ish am we're pretty alone. this is after 40 minutes of straight frisbee. we have to build her back up after these weeks of leash walks. all the same, she was so happy to have room to run. i'm still on the lookout for a great field that goes on and on.

My 700d CR-18s are too worn to keep using (*sob*) so until I lace up one of the pairs of sl23s I've got lying around I'm going to be using these Stans ZTR355s. Which, sadly, are only temporary because there's a dent in the front DS rim wall from when I rammed a curb when dodging a jogger. I can still ride them (obviously), but there's a really annoying *thump-thump-thump* when I apply the front brake.
Maybe I'll take some metal-filled epoxy and fill that dent? It will grab differently than aluminum, but that will probably be less differently than air.

My kira is sent to paya to get new face-up tomorrow. When she came back, kira and kun would be a perfect sister! :D
Temporarily given the front axle off the Excalibur which needs more doing to it (full repaint, retrim, and having a toilet fitted at the back) until both can have their wheels replaced by ones from Paragon Kits.
The rear axle also has odd wheels on it for now...
I'll probably start painting the red stripe on this tomorrow night and have it in service by Wednesday.
