Downtown Tempe has seen an explosion of growth and development. Most property owners have succumbed to the profit potential and sold their land, but there a couple who are still fighting. I assume at some point soon this will no longer exist.

3801 return to steam operations at both Central and Tempe Stations this morning... Weather wasn't great, and I got a little wet, but it was well worth it!!
Central Grand Concourse is a 12 image stitched, I wished I have gone higher, and stood in the middle of the entrance, but the people traffic was too busy...
And a couple of Mexicans to boot hanging out of the window, ONE wearing a 'Metro Trains' cap!!! #rude haha
I shot this one few months ago. Why am I posting old crap, you might ask?
Two reasons. #1 I have shot nothing interesting lately. #2 Tempe has been in the news lately. Apparently the inflatable dam that makes this lake a lake burst. It is now a dry river.
Spent an hour walking around Tempe, a suburb in the inner west of Sydney, while my wife shopped at Ikea (can't stand that place) it's a very industrial suburb not far from Sydney airport, great spot to capture aeroplanes and industrial stuff.

I went to take these photos on Wednesday night last week. It's up at A-Mountain. This shot was over tempe town lake and the 202 with the city runing along in the background. The photo was taken around 9 o'clock. I was lucky enough to get some plane trails overhead as well.
The motion in this photo is definitely coming from the car trails on the ground and the planes in the air. The lighting in this photo is very interesting. The way the street lights and the buildings create interesting coloring and shadows makes the photos more interesting.
