1- My name is Carmen and I live in Santander, one of the most beautiful cities that I´ve known. I love my family, the sea, sealing… and blythe dolls.
2- I have four daughters and I just adore them.
3-My favourite food is “paella”. I could eat paella every day, haha.
4- My favourite song is: Stand by me... but I love almost every kind of music specially of the 60´s.
5- I hate waking up in the morning, I am a night owl. I'm not really a morning person so when I get up early it´s better you don´t talk to me!
6- I love reading, though I admire very much Benedetti, Galeano, Neruda, Coelho…
7- I adore animals but I specially love dogs. I have a dog called Chester and is part of the family. I have a parrot too, his name is Gustavo.
8- I really love flowering plants, my fave is the gardenia plant. So I don´t like that people gives me fresh flowers because I hate to see them fade away and die.
9- Friends are a very important part of my life.
10- I dedicate a lot of time collaborating with an association. People who know me say when I believe in something so strongly I can go on till exhausting all resources.
11- I love taking photos, I always takes my camera in my bag everywhere. When I miss someone I can remember special moments taking a look at my albums.
12- I am hypochondriac... I´m not perfect, haha.
13- I don´t like forced holidays, when you have to celebrate a concrete day because calendar says it, I prefer to choose my free days of parties…
14- I hate routine, I like looking for new experiences.
15- My zodiac sign is aquarius, so my birthday is coming soon!
16- I don´t want to stop doing things that makes me happy. I like a song that says: be happy because it´s free.
Thank you very much for your patience if you have read all of this.
The angel tells them that a Saviou who was Christ the King had been born in a stable in Bethlehem. Then a great host of angels appeared to the shepherds who were praising God, saying that a great Saviour of the people had been born.

One of the most intriguing images the wee Fuji has ever produced. Despite having all the relevant data from the shot I doubt I could ever get the same effect again.

Well You Can Tell By The Way I Use My Walk
(Original post located at www.pmkelly.com/2018/10/well-you-can-tell-by-the-way-i-us...)
I found this photo on the website welt.de, taken at the Reschensee reservoir in southern Tyrol (Italy). A vehicle I have never seen before. It is rear engined, and the hubcaps betray there's a Volkswagen underneath. But what could it be?
A Swiss vintage car website tells that there is no information to be found on this car, but that with reasonable certainty it is a prototype set up in 1947 by the then young German body shop Drews Karosseriebau in Wuppertal, near Düsseldorf. This reservoir completed in 1950 though.
EDIT: this photo is dated August 13, 1953, according to websites Buzzfeed and Dailymail, during the Italian sailing championship.
As you can tell from those seascape shots i posted lately, I seriously enjoy lots of ACTIOooN in the foreground :P the more dramatic the better it gets for me! Also, with rays of light like this, i definitely can't let go of hdr technique in this case but then again.. what's new eh? ;) i would say this image is 29.9999% hdr-ed since the sky has been additionally processed for more details. Anyway its been a while.. trust all are well & have a fabulous Thursday!!! so sorry i'm still pretty slack in flickr :S

it's like somebody took my place
i ain't even playing my own game
the rules have changed well I didn't know
there are things in my life I can't control
i feel the chaos around me
a thing I don't try to deny
i'd better learn to accept that
there's a part of my life that will go away
dark is the night, cold is the ground
in the circular solitude of my heart
as one who strives a hill to climb
i am sure I'll come through I don't know how
they say an end can be a start
feels like I've been buried yet I'm still alive
i'm losing my balance on the tight rope
tell me please, tell me please, tell me please...
if I ever feel better
"Tell me, what is it you plan to do
with your one wild and precious life?"

Happy new year!
As has been my custom for the past few years, I spent a couple of weeks in the desert southwest this holiday season.
If you've followed my photography at all, this view probably looks familiar. I felt like I had a little bit of unfinished business in the Kofa Mountains after last year, and I managed to make it back for another overnight again this year. Like last year, the night was freezing cold, clear, and incredible.
Although I love the location a bunch, I've decided there's too many other things to explore in Arizona, so I'll probably skip this area next year.
But don't fret, I'll be posting a few more shots from the Kofas over the next month or so.
I'll leave you all with a quote from Scrubs, since I have been watching it non stop all weekend...enjoy!
Janitor: Hey, have you been stealing pudding cups and toilet paper around here?
J.D.: [stammers] No! I hate pudding and I don't use... toilet paper.
Janitor: [Janitor stares]
J.D.: I have one of those French things that shoots water up your butt.
*update* I have no idea what is was about this photo that made it so popular, but I really appreciate all this views. This is now, by far, my most viewed photo, so thank you all so much for checking it out!
