Lo so, la battuta di oggi non è il massimo della raffinatezza o della profondità satirica...
Sembra più una delle classicissime e un po' disimpegnate gags de ' La Settimana Enigmistica' : storie di mariti e suocere, naufraghi su isolette minuscole, esploratori assetati con miraggi di bar e cosucce così!
Oppure, vista la comparsata di Sherlock Holmes, potremmo ascrivere il tutto ai gustosi detective puzzles presenti sempre nello stesso, inimitabile e pluri-imitato settimanale: I casi dell'ispettore Ulisse, I casi del Colonnello, Le astuzie di Guerrin la Volpe oppure - last but not least - le mitiche Malefatte di G.Dubol !
E c'è proprio da dire che - quando si scoperchiano tali e tanti fetenti calderoni di illegalità, ingiustizia e crimine, viene davvero la nostalgia per il candido, birichino, G.Dubol che architettava ingegnosissimi piani ma finiva sempre scoperto per qualche minuscolo particolare!
E' vero, anche in questo caso ipso facto la mega-malefatta è stata scoperta! E onore a coloro che sono riusciti a portare alla luce una tale montagna di schifezza!!! Ma che in questo sberluccicante XXI secolo ci si debba ridurre a provar nostalgia per un ladro dei fumetti... lasciatemelo dire: "che Du' Bòl!

Each year WSCDC uses National Public Safety Telecommunications Week as a focal point for the selection of the WSCDC Telecommunicator of the Year. This year we received nominations for five individuals as Telecommunicator of the Year. They are Marita Jorgensen, Mandy McCulloch, Louise Pruitt, George Stimac and Dan Sutherland. I am sure each of them recognizes the honor just to receive a nomination especially when it is from your peers. Each of them was encouraged to continue to work and build upon this recognition. Out of the five nominees Mandy McCulloch was selected as the 2007 Telecommunicator of the Year for WSCDC.
