In the late 1980's British Telecom paid for a British Rail 3 coach DMU to be painted in BT Yellow and bore the slogan "Its Telecom on the Line" and "Making Fast connections" The train ran over many parts of the South West

It is often assumed that Ericofons do not contain any kind of ringing device. As can be seen, this is not so - the cylindrical object in the centre of the photo is a buzzer.
