Thanks for those of your commenting on what I should change. here is the final puppy. This is fully hand painted using various brushes in CS5--they are great, by the way!!! No auto painting in this one at all. I used the original photo as the base and I painted over it in every which way.

I lightened up the background, made the left tooth whiter, made the face and eyes sharper (that was hard since the original picture was quite a blur there...). I find this one so cute!!!

So comments please: is this good enough for me to take it to a veterinarian clinic and display as a piece of art based on which I will take orders????

Your help is MUCH appreciated!!

Thanks!

Hasani, born in December 2008, is the newest member of the Gorilla family at the San Francisco Zoo. He has lots of energy and was on the move constantly. He climbed up into the crook of this tree and sat there chewing on the stump ends for a while. It's hard to photograph a coal-black animal in the shade, but I think I did manage to get a little catch light in his dark reddish brown eyes.

I missed the chance to photograph my flickr friend, Mike Jones, in front of the sign that proves that he is related to these inhabitants, but here's proof on the SF Zoo website that it is named the "Jones Family Gorilla Preserve"

Marc train 517 departs out of Baltimore, Penn Station at 7 in the morning with HHP-8 # 4913 shoving all the way back to Washington. If I haven’t mentioned it before then I’ll do it here, these things are some of my favorite locomotives. While crews hate them for rightful reasons and others outside the NEC call them weird, I love their unique looks and backstory. I’ve always been drawn to the HHP-8 and will continue to come up and catch them on Marc until there soon to be retirement.

it seems like she is teething.

for everyone who asked how i am liking the d200, this is a great feature...low noise at high iso. there was no neat image done to this and the noise for 800 iso is fantastic compared to the d100. noticable, but i am sure it is an easy fix.

In the exam area, keepers had placed fresh bamboo, bamboo from his den and a small section of a tree branch. The cub interacted with these items more than he had in previous weeks. He grabbed the bamboo that was from his den - which smelled familiar - and gummed it with his mouth. He also crawled over the limb that was on the floor. www.sandiegozoo.org/pandacam

My friend publishes patterns through her crochet-along Facebook group, and this cute rattle toy was this month (mystery) cal! I really love Babar, so I decided to give him a crown and picked the same kind of green as Babar's jacket for the ring

The passengers on board 1F64 Scarborough to Liverpool Lime street have just disembarked as the train was terminated at Huddersfield on February the 25th 2020. The train manager described the issue as a Health and Safety problem with the train doors.

well....... why not. check out the snot splatter as opposed to the worn to death blood equivalent. nice. mons(be) 2008.

Bonnie at 20 weeks

Such a playful little fur ball.

His mom says this is his new "goofy face"

He is waving and starting to talk now.

I would have kept him if she had let me. :)

poor teething baby...

it was soooo nice to have my mom here for 2 weeks. now i am going to have to go back to peeing with an audience.

This is a portrait of my wife and son.

He’s been teething for a couple of weeks. I hope it’s over soon, because it can’t be comfortable.

Comic relief note: The Flickr algorithm considered this photo "baby," "child," "people." I of course deleted them, as I do all the Flickr tags.

A sleep log records the times that Jen and I get up with the baby in the night and any interventions (diaper changes, teething relief) needed to get him slumbering peacefully again. Part of our sleep training regimen, the log would also help us settle any equity disputes.

Oddly-shaped bits of molded rubber chill out in the fridge next to the yogurts. Owen began teething in earnest today; he's finally coordinated and determined enough to use these.

little Squirt was busy this a.m. massaging her gums with this stick.

Both puppies are getting big. They both have he sweetest little dispositions.

If they are outside, and my kitchen door is open they stand at the fence and whine until I come out and pay attention to them! 8-)
