On 3-7-15 the Technology & Manufacturing Association held its 88th Annual Meeting and Banquet at the Cantigny Cultural Center in Wheaton, IL. Warren Young from ACME won the Jon Winzeler Award. --- won the Rose Mottl award for Women in Manufacturing. The new board of directors was selected.
Tulsa Technology Center in Oklahoma provides PLTW programs at select comprehensive high schools and the Tulsa Pre-Engineering Academy. Efforts have paid off with 98 percent of students surveyed expressing interest in studying STEM fields in college. Retention has also been high with an overall retention rate of 85 percent.
