The technology conference provides teachers with professional development and innovative ways to use technology in their classrooms. Clemencia Spizzirri, Iowa's 2015 Teacher of the Year, started the conference with the keynote address, and The Des Moines Register's David Chivers is scheduled to give the second day keynote on Friday.

AidData hosted students and staff from all eight HESN development labs, USAID staff and international development leaders to discuss the first year of work under the HESN initiative and create plans for future collaboration.
