More than 400 attendees kicked off the district's third annual TechCon 2017 on June 15 at Hoover High School. The technology conference provides teachers with professional development and innovative ways to use technology in their classrooms. Clemencia Spizzirri, Iowa's 2015 Teacher of the Year, started the conference with the keynote address, and The Des Moines Register's David Chivers is scheduled to give the second day keynote on Friday.
