Mini teacup hat, made from my own pattern.

This was so much fun to make, it's just ridiculously cute and silly and fun <3

This is the place to go for an Anglophile who lives in the Pacific northwest!

Tea today is “Raspberry Earl” a black tea with a hint of my favorite, raspberries…. I think that if I lived in a house surrounded by raspberry bushes like we had at our summer cottage life would certainly be close to “complete”! I am using my favorite apple tea-pot, and I wanted to show off my apple salt and pepper shakers, kind of fun. The cup came with a lovely Christmas bouquet of white and red carnations and mums… and works just fine here because I needed a green cup!

They really went hard on the spin rate during the ride.

Favors for Zoe's 6th birthday party - Elizabeth bought these inexpensive white teacups and I drew on them with permanent marker, then we put them in the oven for a bit. From an idea on Pinterest!

My beloved Wildchild, Mytha, and Brown and White Pandie, Kamehameha, both permas. Mytha is the smallest teacup I have ever seen!

My new teacups ^_^

My Raspberry Zinger tastes especially good in this mug with the lovely pattern of swirls and flowers. I have also included a fascinator that I made with vintage milliner flowers and leaves and French wire ribbon, I wear it with the scarf that is shown further down the post. The vintage necklace is made from carved MOP flowers; and the vintage metal rose was a pin worn by my husband’s grandmother.

From a small series of miniature cakes designed to look like a coffee mug and a set of three decorated tea cups and saucers.

The cake is a decadent mocha (dark chocolate and coffee) madeira cake with coffee flavoured buttercream.

tea was especially good to me today.

The original hedgehog tea set was the result of my first request for a hedgehog related special order, by a woman named Simone. At the time I was just so happy to get any kind of pottery related work, while working in a non-pottery related job, that I didn't even get to test or refine the design. Since that first tea set, I've made a few changes, and expect to keep making a few more changes with the future sets. Thank you, Simone, for bringing about the creation of the hedgehog tea sets; I hope that your set pours correctly for you. #animal #wildlife #wild #tea #teacup #teapot #teaset #clay #ceramic #stoneware #pottery #sculpture #handmade #wheel #wheelthrown #hedgehog #hedgie #functional #home

Another shot at HDR - I am really enjoying it, actually! This is the Teacups over at Disneyland Paris. Possibly one of my favouite parts of the park...

Thank you for looking! I am off to Paris next week, so will be back from there with some fresh ideas and a new zest for Flickr, I'm sure!

Close-up of something that amazed me as a child. The geisha in the bottom of the teacup really showed up well with dregs of tea or coffee. When I get time, I plan to replace this with one that really shows her off.

A Day Out With Thomas on Mid Hants Railway

A gift from my mother-in-law. So beautiful! Probably from the 50's

Unlike the ride in Florida, Disneyland's teacups are outdoors! I like it so much better.

This time Grandpa's up.
