Not sure of the exact date when I captured this image but I developed this film and this was image I was most drawn towards. I had been out on a bike ride on a old rail line through the woods of Sussex and noticed these were the only leaves still connected to its branch for miles woodland.
"I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach and not, when I came to die discover that I had not lived." - Henry David Thoreau
Have a great day my friends :)

Beth: these clothes are as clean as they're going to get! where do we search for Lizzy first?
Ciri: oh, no. you can't defend yourself against weak bandits. we've been needing an archer
Beth: so you're going to teach me archery?

A captured, injured bird, whose life was saved, and who is being pampered wined and dined by his rescuers. His job now is just to look beautiful, and teach us.
(I will be absent for the weekend, singing in three concerts over three days, in three different venues. I will catch up with everyone after the weekend. Have a great day!)

I must have had a teacher when I was young who wore lots of turtlenecks and long plaid skirts, because I always associate the look with teachers. I don't conciously remember any teacher in particular who dressed this way, but I always feel I'm dressed like a teacher when I wear this look.
It isn't clear onscreen (not on my monitor, anyway), but the skirt and sweater are brown, which picks up some brown from the skirt.
