For Smile in Saturday - Tea-rific
A bit of a rush job today as we are decorating the room that will be my new 'studio' among other things...such as sewing room, guest room...not that we'll be having guests for some time.
Happy Saturday
Große Pause. Zeit für Tee.

Have a break, have a tea time. And for me preferably outside. Lazy in the grass, among all the daisies, with a pillow under my head. So you can enjoy tea from fresh peppermint and slices of ginger and lemon perfectly this way, right? I usually use the cup in the office, now at home – there is no garden in the office anyway ;-)

Hello amazing people!
Today is a purple day at Color My World Daily and the theme at Make me smile on Saturday is tea-rific.
I’m a coffee drinker but I do love tea also. I prefer green tea and I drink it very often. Usually I drink mine with some lemon juice and no sugar, but to make this picture “sweeter” I added a few sugar cubes… After setting everything up for this picture, my tea was cold, so I had to add some smoke… Of course, you can use some incents but since I don’t have any in my house (and I truly try to avoid all stores since the beginning of the pandemic, I didn’t want to go just for one item…). I used some Photoshop brushes, instead, from Brusheezy (www.brusheezy.com) , and I like the result.
See you later and enjoy your tea, or coffee, or gin & tonic !
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts / positive vibes!! Stay safe and healthy !! And enjoy your day !!!
Happy CMWD and happy SoS to all participants !!

Little story
When I got my Helios Lens, I naturally tried out a lot, including a portrait of my cat. Anyway, my son had the photo printed on a teacup and gave it to me. A nice idea and great joy ;-) I use the cup every day.

Thanks for watching, commenting and fave, much appreciated!
"I honestly don't think that I want to take a relaxing bath in boiling hot water", said the tea bag. It didn't have to as I don't like tea and only needed a photo for this week's 'Smile on Saturday' group theme 'Tea-rific'. Although I don't drink tea I know that usually the tea bag goes in first and the hot water afterwards but I had to change the rules as I wanted the steam in my photo. Let's call it artistic freedom. :) HSoS !
We purchased this cute teapot on our trip to London 8 years ago after having tea at Harrod's. It is a nice souvenir of our trip.

Smile on Saturday theme TEA-RIFIC
One of my little luxuries during lockdown has been the purchse of a Japanese Matcha tea set so that we can enjoy a cup of vegan matcha latte, Japanese style.
Stay safe and take care, happy Smile on Saturday!
One-Punch Man enjoys his favorite beverage, a hot cup of green tea.

Created for the Smile on Saturday theme, TEA-RIFIC.
The mixed leaves are valerian tea. I got it as it's meant to help sleep. I don't know if it works as I thought the taste was horrible and never drank it all lol
For SOS theme "tea-rific", I decided to go to the historical birthplace of tea, the Yunnan region of China. This is a yellow-painted porcelain tea set with traditional dragon and phoenix designs symbolizing the emperor and empress respectively. We purchased this tea set (with 4 cups actually) on a trip to Beijing years ago.
