corriamo, siamo presi da noi stessi, ci perdiamo in fiumi di problemi, rabbia, lavoro, amore, odio e chipiùnehapiùnemetta, non ci accorgiamo di chi ci sta accanto..
perdiamo attimi, persone, istanti unici e irripetibili..
ci accorgiamo degli altri solo quando sbattiamo su di loro.. quando ci scontriamo con chi non può passare inosservato... e all'improvviso tutto il resto sembra dileguarsi...

In una città vera si cammina...sai, no? Sfiori gli altri passanti, sbatti contro la gente...qui a Los Angeles non c'é contatto fisico con nessuno...Stiamo tutti dietro vetro e metallo...Il contatto ci manca talmente, che ci schiantiamo contro gli altri solo per sentirne la presenza.

This is a portrait of Max and Clyde from Tatt Datt tattoo parlour. They've only just opened Tatt Datt at 65 Johnston Street in Fitzroy. I got a couple of new tattoos there last week and I was really pleased with how they turned out. If you are in Melbourne and into tattoos, check these guys out, they're awesome.
The best picture I've got of it right now - it was still kind of swollen and red then. Probably 4 days afterwards I think? The text reads "Without passion, we'd be truly dead". The sewing machine is modelled on one of my own :) This is months after the DIY or DIE tattoo was done so it's totally healed up here.
