Last week, the sky was alive with colors and clouds. As I was driving up North Flynn Road, this was the scene. I had to stop and get a picture of the Livermore, Dublin, Pleasanton Valley.
Fun Fact: The sky can turn a multitude of colors such as red, orange, purple and yellow due to light scattering effects.

(EXPLORE) OK.....so I added a dash more bokeh than what this picture started with. The few twinkles in the background inspired me to give this shot a bit more of a fantasy feeling.
I was out looking for deer yesterday on the trails not far from my house and was happy to find this young buck and one other young lady with him. The weather was a beautiful 70 degrees and I had a great afternoon enjoying the sunshine!

So when my wife asked me to try these little chaps, I was only too pleased to follow my orders... after I got the camera... tripod... strobe... reflector... props...

I've had to downgrade the resolution of this image, and introduce heavy watermarking, after finding other images on unauthorised sale. I apologise, as it now looks crap and a shadow of its former self.

Originally I was going to be goobing in Iowa for the weekend with a few folks but a solid forecast of storms reduced the weekend to a few hours on this Friday evening. From what I experienced I will be back hopefully sooner than later.

The hamburgers taste exceptionally good here. I don't know why. I think there is magic in the ketchup. This place has been here since the 50s. You can eat in or sit on the boardwalk and people watch. Best thing about the beach!

When health is lost. Be timely wise;
With health all taste of pleasure flies."
