This was one of several pictures I took of a group of men playing cards at a coffee shop called the Athens Cafe. They told me they come every day and with their wives' blessings. They told me in their lovely thick Greek accents that their wives "stay home and cook and clean" and they come to meet their friends each day to play cards. I jokingly told them their wives send them there with their blessings and are "glad to get them out of the house". The gentleman on the left is 80 years old and is looked up to with reverence by the "younger" members of the group.
