Don`t have a cassette player anymore....but a few tapes are still there.

A postbox and an ATM is keeping that corner of it partially open, hence the tape. Other than that, the entire operations has now shut down and is awaiting redevelopment since patients, doctors, nurses, and everyone else moved lock, stock and barrel into the new building at the West End of the city, two weeks ago.
it was time again for something new... my new wallet made of nothing but duck tape. And while at it why not make something for the mobile phone and the keys as well?!

Ich hab mir ein neues Portemonnaie aus Panzertape gebastelt. Ein Schlüsselband und ne Handyhülle gabs dann auch noch.
Knallt farblich ordentlich, ich werde die Sachen bestimmt nicht übersehen.

Macro Monday theme: "Back In The Day" and I have about 5 of these in my possession. A Cassette Tape, it holds the voices of my children when they were very young. I don't have a way of listening to them now, as I have no player.

The end of "silvered" Christmas wrapping tape, wrapped around the edge of foamcore board... the roll in the background making for some interesting bokeh.
Subject lit up by a chinese rotating multiple colored "christmas" light, the one you shine on your house from your front garden...if you know what I mean.

While thinking about my image for today I stumbled upon this old cassette tape of comedy legend, Bill Cosby. On road trips, my husband and I would listen and laugh and could recite from memory his funny stories. They were so endearing and provided hours of entertainment and some great memories. Would I listen to them now and find the same joy? I am not sure, somehow when your heroes fall it is hard to separate their achievements from their crimes. Does anyone else feel this way?
PS - I don't even know why I have cassette tapes around, we don't even have a way to play them. Time to purge some more stuff...
My husband has some of this copper tape, as opposed to copper wire, for some project he was doing last year. I wasn't sure about using it initially but when I saw how nicely it scrunched up when detached from its backing strip and how well it reflected the light, I changed my mind! This was photographed on my office chair and the reflected light catches the "grain" of the faux leather seat nicely.
With a liberal application of Gaffer tape, smartly turned out

On my walk today on Portobello beach I stumbled upon a cassette tape in the sand. While I find litter completely awful, cassettes are completely hilarious!
Punch/Memory tape in the Tunny Computer gallery. The National Museum of Computing, Bletchley Park, Milton Keynes, UK.
To cover the punched hole my door, I taped it. It turned out better than I thought. Makes me want to duct tape and draw all over my walls. I wish I could draw cartoon scenes so I could do it all over my room. Even though my dad would killllll me if I did. :)
Look at this gorgeous fairytale themed swap! Everything is kawaii fairytale, even the little eraser and pencil! Thank you so much, Linda, especially for the Wolf tofu! It matches my darling Red Riding Hood one from Darlene =) And the Alice in Wonderland memo has been on my wishlist for a while, I'm happy to finally have it!
I finally completed my ticker tape quilt! I used flannel for the batting so I could also use it for a table cloth when I choose. Hand quilted with cotton crochet thread.
Finished size 60X72.
I recorded this programme off the radio in 1996. I used to do a lot of it in those days. I still have drawers full of tapes that I haven't listened to in years.
The Macro Mondays group has chosen Tape today.
