The pointsman has a bored stance whilst waiting for QJ 6984 to start from a stop in the loop at Gulumanhan with a train of oil tanks heading west on the Jitong Railway.
Abandoned concrete(?) tanks in Death Valley National Park. The tanks probably held water to serve the same mine that was served by the charcoal kilns in other photos I have posted (as well as the old water pipe. The charcoal kilns were built in 1877, so I imagine this pipe is from the same general date.
Hi guys, here's my first try at a LEGO modern tank! This will be used in my Last of Us MOC, if you have any tips for me please leave them in the comments ;)
Flew to San Diego for a business trip and stayed in a high room at the Hilton Bayfront. It had a good view of the city as well as the industrial south end. Here, a staircase alongside an oil tank.
Inside the huge storage tank at the abandoned Eyri herring processing factory in Ingólsfjörður, just northwest of Djúpavík.

Seems like there's been a bit of conversation about tanks in the last few weeks, so I thought I'd throw in my two cents. Oh, different type of tank? Oh, never mind. I was wondering how these things could get down the street. Anyway, the tanks I'm talking about are northbound at Manteno, IL on the former Illinois Central, now CN. A little proof that Illinois isn't really that flat, you just have to look hard to see some of the hills.....
Aspis Tank
The Aspis is the main terrestrial based weapon platform used by the Colonial Space Marines. It is a well armed, heavily armoured and highly mobile tank designed for variable planetside operations. The Apsis operated by two crew: the pilot and the gunner who controls the Aspis' weapon systems.
The Aspis cargo bay can be configured depending on the operational requirements. Common configurations include: Personnel Carrier, additional ammunition storage and front line supply delivery.
The Aspis is equipped with quad-rail Gauss Cannons which can launch various projectiles types at near light speeds. Additional turrets and missile payloads can be configured based on specific mission requirements

Going by the registration plate attached to this tandem axle Texaco tanker trailer, which I think is from an AEC Mandator tractor unit in early 1969 (Texaco had at least 30 in this block series of plates), I'd say this very genuine looking HWP Engineering (of Hexthorpe, Doncaster) tank trailer has sat in the same spot for somewhere approaching 45years?
Seen yesterday during a most enjoyable day out at a well known commercial vehicle dealers yard.
Mouse’s Tank is a natural basin in the rock where water collects after each rainfall. A half-mile round trip trail leads to Mouse’s Tank from the trailhead parking area. There are excellent examples of prehistoric petroglyphs on the trail. Mouse’s Tank is named for a Southern Paiute Indian renegade (“Little Mouse”) who used Valley of Fire as a hideout in the 1890s after he was accused of killing two prospectors and other crimes in the area. He was accused of gunning down two prospectors and many other crimes.
Here is my updated L3/35, its the anti tank version with a Solothurn 20 mm anti-tank rifle.
Its one stud smaller then the last one and one plate lower and has a really nice camo!

"Aquino Tank Weekend" is the largest and greatest historical military show in Canada. It is the Ontario Regiment RCAC Museum’s biggest annual event. There is nothing like it in the world.
Spanning over three very busy days (9,10,11 June 2023), Aquino Weekend is an event with action packed excitement for both families and history enthusiasts.
The Museum is known world wide for its extensive collection of operational historical vehicles and they are showcased in both static and dynamic displays over the weekend. They will roll out in demonstrations, battle re-enactments, and one-on-one tank battles! The battle re-enactments are second to none. They combine an intensive experience where artillery, infantry, and vehicles encounter each other. These scenarios are narrated and supported by explosions and gunfire (with blanks)!
Just a fun day out and it is as could as it's going to an international "airshow."

"Blarney Castle" (B57) and "Behemoth II" (B54) in the village of Fontaine, just west of Cambrai. After losing their infantry support, B54 and B57 both made it to the east side of the village where they were hit and knocked out by 7.7cm K-Flak batteries. Numerous photos were taken by the Germans of "Blarney Castle" and her incinerated crew.
Interestingly, compared with other photographs of the same scene, it appears someone has gone to some lengths to remove the landscape beyond the earthen wall situated behind the tanks.
Just finished this one yesterday. The Tsar Tank was a Russian WW1 prototype vehicle. Its main characteristic is the two huge wheels. Only one of the vehicles was built, and performed well in testing, but the small rear wheels got stuck in the mud. It stayed there until 1923, when it was melted down for scrap metal.
