66201 passes Flax Bourton on 7 April 2009 with the 15.31 Bristol St Phillip's Marsh to Tavistock Junction fuel tanks. By this date the Bristol and Plymouth workings had been combined into a single weekly train, originating at Fawley as 6V62 and restarting from St Philip’s Marsh Depot as 6C62. The traffic ceased altogether in 2013 when the railway realised that conveying its own fuel by road would be cheaper. Post-Brexit truck driver shortages may have altered the equation but by then the TTA rail wagons had been ‘recycled’. The disused siding on the left (up) side was once part of the Tyntesfield oil storage depot complex. It has since been lifted.
Due to years of sitting, the top of the fuel tank rusted. A replacement was found locally. This is my father removing the original tank.

I was pleased to see four rail car tanks in the mixt freight consist on the GCR at the weekend. I have come across many similar tanks having a second life for static storage in local oil distribution depots during my working life.
The first three of these were built by Charles Roberts at Horbury Junction. The largest of these is of a type I have seen running on the main line in recent years.
A splendid sight, congratulations to the restorers
My li’l tribute to Wii Play Tanks! What a great game! It’s been too long since I last played it; I’ll have to fix that soon.
Each tank is three pieces: a skate, a minifig hand, and a rubber band. I think the skate is my new favorite piece by a country mile. Sorry handcuffs!
This was a fun little diversion while I wait on some pieces for my robot to arrive.
Ruins of the Hogpen MIll water tank. Water was the life of Delamar, water tokens have survived - "Good for 10 Gallons" and "Good for one Bath" are some examples. This tank was big.

Being under lockdown has been kinda boring, so I made a tank while I was at it. I've got a lil' town also built, if I ever finish it, I'll post pics of that as well
If you have any comments or suggestions on the tank, I'd appreciate it. I'd like to try my hand at some more military stuff, so any improvements are very much welcome.
BR Railfreight Petroleum Sector 47381 approaches Newton Abbot with the discharged tanks forming the 7Z14 13:15 Heathfield Distribution Terminal to Briton Ferry. In June 1989 there was a timetabled TO service from Waterston [Gulf] that was repeated as an additional service later in the week, when required and as was the case on this final Friday of that month.
The track visible on the left was the top end of the run-round loop adjacent to the freight sidings. Just visible above the first tank wagon was the loading platform for the ball clay siding of Watts Blake & Bearne.

Just a cool little build that I made! Expect some more tanks, I have finally gotten track links. Hope you guys like it, and tell me what you think. Thanks for viewing and tell me what vehicle I should build next.

My version of Halo's own epic Scorpion tank. I tried to squeeze in as much detail as I could but still retain functionality, so the turret rotates and the gun rotates in it's socket. Naturally the treads feature independent suspension, and also I added the disk that's underneath the turret, but what's cool is that it actually extends into the base so that even if you rotate the turret up it still wont come completely out. One more thing you may notice is it's a-symmetry, and I don't mean as in the little details, but in the general shape. Here's is what I learned from my pictures, which were all of the Halo 3 scorpion: on the left side of the tank, the sides are more sharply angled, and when it widens in the back in sharply angles out, while on the right side, the side in front is completely flat, and when it widens, it does so progressively and almost curves.
One of many huge cylindrical tanks on a large property beside the Adelaide Brighton Cement. I wonder if they are connected in any way.

This is pretty much a test to see if A) I could build a medium sized tank and B) I could have to front bit slanted with a mini cockpit sticking out. ;)
So yeah, a little test that will hopefully fit into the cargo bay of my apocaspace lorry. ;)
Enjoy! :)
Personally, I think this is the best one of the four I took.

The Nokirian Dragon Tank was designed as a multi-utility, armored transport. Its size allows it to carry a full battalion of soldiers in addition to an arsenal of weapons systems.
The tank features three different weapons systems. The first is the main gun. The turret can rotate a full 360 degrees and the barrel has about 30 degrees of upward mobility. The next system is the anti air gatling gun. Capable of shooting 1200 rounds per minute, it is easily able to tear through any aircraft that are fly too near. The final system is the name sake of the tank. The flame thrower is located at the base of front and is used primarily against infantry to quickly roast them.
The turret compartment can comfortably hold 2 infantry and the main body can hold several more. There is also a compartment near the front of tank which stores weapons and other supplies for the troops.
