Well named waterfall right off the Icefields Parkway in Jasper National Park. Flow was low when here in October but really roars in the spring.

A walk along the frozen Ottawa river, produced a lot of minimal type images for me, the deep snow and low temperatures were a challenge but enjoyable at the same time.

He said we had enough lights but I didn't think so..

From this shooting perspective, it looked like a complicated tangle of outriggers on the moored Fishing Vessels.

Gulf of Georgia Cannery

Tangle Creek is along the Icefields Parkway in Banff National Park. It was an easy 5 minute scramble to get here from the parking area.

Silhouetted hogweed up on the heath, like a little forest..

It surely seems to be in a very difficult - even hopeless - situation, this tree in the woods round Beisbroek, Flanders. I suppose it must have been the victim of a storm.

We passed it on our walk from Beisbroek, a castle that is now a museum and observatory, to Tudor Castle (see my previous photos). The walk is signposted as 'The Heath Walk'.

The young tree next to it is giving hope for the future.
