GOLDEN BRUSHTAIL possums, adorable and rare, are an unusual form of the common brushtail possum that get their fluffy golden coats from a genetic mutation that results in low levels of melanin in their skin and fur; this is the same pigment that gives human skin and hair its colour and makes you look tanned.
Unfortunately for these little guys, their colour is more of a bane in the wild because it makes them conspicuous to predators. It’s hard to hide among the leaves when you’ve got bright golden fur! Because of this, the golden brushtail possum is a rare sight in the wild, being found mostly in small pockets around Tasmania where they have fewer wild predators.

Renown Travel: The Wat Suan Tan is a 14th century temple located in the town of Nan. The temple which is also known as “the temple of the sugar palm grove” comprises of two viharns, a large chedi, a Ho Trai or library building and a sala like structure housing a Buddha image.
The viharn enshrines the Wat Suan Tan’s principal Buddha image named Phra Chao Chong Thip. The bronze Sukhothai style image in the “Calling the Earth to witness” posture measuring 4.11 meters tall was cast in 1449 during the reign of Lanna King Tilokaraj. It is flanked by two smaller standing images of the Buddha.

A escasos cincuenta minutos de Madrid y sin posibilidad de perderse este pequeño municipio, de un estilo pastoril ganadero y con alguien al frente muy inteligente ha hecho de una cosa sencilla una maravilla. Se come estupendamente y si no pillas aparcamiento son 800 metros andando desde Patones de Abajo. El paseo por el pueblo es espectacular ...en cada casa un bar y sin trafico interior . El senderismo y los ciclistas tienen su paraíso. Estoy contento de haber ido .
