Te Awanga beach near Hastings on the North Island of New Zealand with a storm approaching in the background.
I made this small table runner out of scraps from a quilt my daughter never finished! I really like the fall colors.
The table top is real wood, and I couldn't get the rich tones to come out in the photo. The bad news about wood - is that it is easy to damage, hot cups, dropped plates, and nail varnish have all done their bit - but thats a part of it it's history now, so I guess like the blemishes and all - LoL.
I thought the darn pic was out of focus, but it's the grain - it doesn't have sharp edges !!
The coffee table I am working on. Cherry and walnut. Mortise and thru-tenon joinery. Will be adding drawers next (an decision regretfully made after the table was completed, but before finishing).

This Tuesday finds me relaxing near my new table in my newly-remodelled sitting room. I called it that because at one point there were only two chairs in there. I guess now it's the library. No chairs at all, but plenty of books.
Oh, why yes, we do keep these around. Just in case, you know, thirteen years later. You want us to send that flickr photo around to your friends? Then eat your broccoli.
We're selling this table, but I wanted to post the picture here, because i thought the light coming in through the window helped create a really nice shot.
Table Rock is one of my favorite rock formations in Bandon, and I was excited that the sun went down right behind it and made the sand glow. I also love all the birds on the rock, especially right in front of the sun.

The little porcelain table is something inbetween a decorative object and a table. Like a trophy, shiny and cold with hand painted decor that tells stories of adventures in the deep forest.

I think that I must be one of the many that got photographed/filmed from this fellow's perspective. It's a little odd if I think about it too much. I, an amateur photographer, have posted a photo to a photo-hosting website, of a fellow amateur photographer taking a photo/recording of me, another amateur photographer. From the cab of a truck no less.
Okay, not profound, but you get the picture.

Christmas 2007 at Clifton Springs. Typical Australian Christmas lunch: prawn cocktail for starters, salads and cold meats for mains, ice cream and berries for dessert. Table setting and decorations by me; entree by Mum; main course by Mum and Helen; dessert by me.

A remnant of a lava flow that once covered the region along the western foothills of the Cascades, Table Rock stands at 4,881 feet above the northeastern portion of this small wilderness.
The wilderness was designated in 1984 and now is nearly 5,800 acres in size.
On this steep and rugged terrain, visitors can find a quiet forest of Douglas fir and western hemlock, with noble fir at higher elevations and crowds of rhododendron on many of the upper slopes
At least two endangered plants bloom here: Oregon sullivantia and Gorman's aster.
Deer and elk wander about in winter, and the northern spotted owl has been spotted among the old growth.
About 17 miles of trails give access to the wilderness. A relatively easy hike from Table Rock Road leads to Table Rock Trail. On clear days, hikers can spot many Cascade peaks in Oregon and Washington.
