This pair of picnic tables beneath the shade of a tree afford vistors a nice view of Lake Argyle looking down the lake towards the dam. I would imagine, however, that people need to be careful not to trip on the exposed roots of the tree.

The dining table in my father's house, all silent now.

Decades ago, it was in use every evening with Dad sitting at the far end, Mum beside him on his left. That's my chair in the foreground. My two elder sisters would take the seats on the other side, out of the picture on the left.

Hi all and now for a bit of colour,had a good response from the mono conversion of this image from people also wanting to see the original colour.

This believe it or not was last week in cornwall ! could easily been a desert island :-)

Bin there and the effects of light..hss... camera phone....and pocket computer...and coffee table...processing...there's a ga zillion star's out there...enjoy.

Two Adirondack chairs cliff side over looking Lake Okanagan. No invitation nor reservation is required. It's a bit of trek to get there from the KVR Trail situated above the perch and the brush tends to be home to some rather nasty snakes but the gesture is welcoming.

If we hurry, we could avoid the crowds...

For today's walk, Larry and I headed to trails along the Elbow River. We saw a number of interesting things, including this fascinating table.
