1973 Yamaha TZ 750 For Sale
It’s a ’73 750 that had been originally built as a streetfighter by Dr. Sean Dwyer. This is a very nicely put together custom using many top-drawer components like the Spondon frame fame and swing arm, Swarbrick exhaust, C&J Radiator, TZ500 monoshock, custom tank and seat. GSXR 750 wheels and forks were adapted to fit the package and the engine (409-series un-numbered cases, mag covers) rebuilt.
The bike was purchased at auction in the USA and imported to Canada where it then came into the current owner’s collection. Along the way, the street components were removed and work was started (but not completed) to return the machine to track trim. An unpainted ’73 TZ fairing and screen as well as the original “street components are included in the sale.
The machine was feature in an article in Motorcycle.com back in 2004: www.motorcycle.com/events/print/tz750-streetfighter-12859...

Without warning, a tremendous blast rocks the northwest corner of Midian, from inside the Twilight Zone. Doors are blown out, any weak spots in the building are blasted through. Debris flies for a hundred yards, like missiles and bullets, peppering the hillside and splashing into the sea. Smoke billows from the building, and those within twenty to thirty yards will surely suffer from the sound of the blast. The inside of the building is filled with debris and rubble...God help anyone who was inside...
Guin can see nothing now, smoke and fire filling her vision. She hangs on to Rena's voice, Damian's shout. "Here!" she tries to call out, but it's breath she doesn't have to spare. She yanks hard at her arm, trying to free it, and tries to roll out of the path of the fire, pushing at whatever it was blocking her path. Her eyes are watering and her shoulder wrenches as she pulls--but better that than staying there. "Help... " Her voice cuts off sharply as she feels the floor shift underneath her again, and she braces herself as best she can, shoving at the rubble in front of her with all her strength.
Charles lowered his goggles and tried the door, the fuse box strained, as the dying power got it open a crack and left him looking down into a pit...he squeezed his frame through the gap in the door and fell to the unstable floor below, a lot of people were here tonight. He stumbled back as there was another explosion, air tight googles prevented the smoke entering his eyes, though the blackness was hard to see through, he'd just have to stomp on bodies and find out which ones screamed in voices he recognised...
Damian screams once more pulling for all he has .... feeling the burning and tearing of his leg as he rips free of the twisted metal. He looks up into a familar visage in the smoke .. he pushes up with one hand and reaches for the tall figure with his other hand.
Rena rocked forward, slamming to her knees as the second blast rips through the building and she's crawling toward that bit of white.
Charles stumbles forward and feels the shape on the floor... He reached down and grabbed the back of his jacket, and quickly dragged Damian towards the doors, counting the steps to the door.
Damian shoves him back when he reaches the door. "Get em.. I'll get out.. "
Charles budged the door open and pushed Damian towards the air, he then went back to the spot where was left.
Guin is rolled hard into the pillar in front of her by the explosion, giving a hoarse cry as her arm is finally wrenched free of whatever was pinning it. She's not sure if it gives or not--the smoke is disorienting her and she's not sure which way to turn. "Rena!" But she's not even sure she could be heard. She picks a direction--away from fire--and pulls herself along the floor, trying for clean air.
Rena was on the floor but not out, not yet, digging for Guin.
Charles heard that familiar voice, following it... he stumbled down and reached for the back of Rena's pants. "GUIN" he yelled.
Rena screamed as she was grabbed, hand clutching on to Guin as she finally got a hold of her.
Guin stretches her hand out, by some instinct, reaching blindly. She hears her name, but thinks it's impossible. "Charles?" But now she has a sure direction and pushes forward. She can't see anything but knows she has to go -forward-. "Rena!" Hand finally finds hers, and latches on tight.
Charles could hardly hear over the blazing inferno he reached under Rena, feeling the resistance. He reached out for Guin, pulling her arm too, he adjusts his grip, wrapping arms round both their middles... and dragging them towards the doors "Anyone else in har!" he yells as he dumps them unceremoniously at the doors.
Obviously there was a LOT of other RP going on around us, but I didn't want to post a novella so I just pared it down to this little corner. :D
